hugs to Rachel! Wouldn't it be so much easier if we didn't have to work!!:rotfl:
Welcome to Donna.
Well quite proud of myself today...
I had a mums meet up this morning for coffee and managed to behave myself!
B~ red berry flakes (still eating those damned things!!) with banana
S~ hazelnut latte (ok not the best but avoided buns!)
L~ Brown bread toasty with chicken and pesto (coffee turned into lunch so was in a cafe but still avoided buns and didn't even eat the coleslaw!)
S~ 1 (yes one) celebrations choccy (stopped at mums)
D~ wasn't hungry so just had a left over sausage.
S~ cup of tea and a WW biscuit.
Now for the best bit.....I just did my first ever ever part of my running training!!!!!!
OK so I didn't even manage to do every run part of it (is the couch to 5K training so run 60secs then walk 90secs for 30mins) but since I haven't run the length of myself in a very long time I'm still proud of me for trying. Have to say I am mighty embarrassed at just HOW unfit I am, after running 60secs I was panting and feeling rather hot, after the 4th run bit I could feel my legs getting tired but hey ho I just have to keep practising.0 -
Welcome to Donna!
Rachel that sounds like a great plan!
Finished off well today.
B one egg one HM toast
L White roll with very thing cheese and flora light
D pasta with HM tom sauce, resisted garlic bread (just learnt artisan bread:mad: tastes too good!)
S - 5 dates (drool) NO CRISPS TODAY!
Am hungry now though? Paul says I should eat if im hungry so going to have something nibbly.
Started toning exercises today. I was putting out the stuff in the recycling bin, and my Argos catelogue (sp?) nearly went in, until i realied it would be a good weight for toning so did 15 minutes worth which quite did me in actually. Most involving the book as a weight. NOted down what i did so i can do the same again and up the reps after a few days. No doubt will hurt tomoro as ive not done toning stuff in ages
Tried the plank on the fitball, hard stuff. My lower back is quite weak so need to build that up. Felt good to get off the sofa though - regardless of feeling unwell tday. Watched the first Pmck show which was good, going to watch them all then again in a few weeks. He says not to weigh yourself for 3 weeks, but I am hoping to lose a bit for my hols - 19th June, and i really dont have 3 weeks to "waste", because I would hate to not lose any over that time.A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

Thanks for the support Zippychick and Patchwork Cat.
Welcome Donna.
Rachel sorry your conference isn't going so well.
Beccam - well done with the running.
Well today I had:
B. Porridge with semi-skimmed milk and banana
S. 2 small pieces of chocolate concrete and a Thomas cupcake.
L. Pork and cucumber sandwich
S. 2 small pieces of chocolate concrete (not much left now - so hopefully the temptation will be gone by tomorrow)
D. Skinless chicken breast, mash with peas and sweetcorn.
S. Apple and three eighths of a dragon fruit.
Exercise: 5.5 mile walk, half a mile running, 2 hours on the stepper. They weren't too bad about me exercising today.0 -
Well done Zippychick. I hadn't thought about using the Argos catalogue for toning. I must give it a go.0

Great :j:T I was going to say let me know how you get on, but you are quite the seasoned trainer from what Ive read the past few weeks! I could only think of so many moves because i found it harder to hold in one hand, but does the job. I wonder how much it weighs? I don't own scales.A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

Morning all.
Bit of a disaster last night as OH's friend came round with birhtday vodka and chocs. Got stuck in. Will be difficult today because of resulting sugar crash and craving starchy stuff but must prevail! Want a final push towards weigh-in on saturday so OH can see some results and we can both be motivated for another week.

Morning all, welcome Donna!
Gained a pound since last week, just when I thought I was doing everything properly. Oh well, still have a stone to go before reaching my first target and I think I'm running out of time but the Wii keeps telling me I'm doing fine, I'll believe it for now!
Breakfast - Barbie Pink smoothie, Muesli, blueberries, yogurt, soya milk
Lunch - Toasted sarnie with cheese and salad on the side
Dinner - Sweet and Sour vegetables with brown rice
Snacks - Banana and an apple if I feel like it
Have a nice day all.Real stupidity beats artificial intelligence every time0 -
Hello Everyone
I`ve been to the gym this morning and done my usual weekly weigh in.
Feeling really disheartened because I`ve gained 2lbs in a week and I`m now the heaviest I have ever been.
Decided I really must get back into healthy eating and lose some weight.
My problem is not with eating the right foods just too much of them.
Look forward to getting to know you all
