Zippychick - I use some stock rather than fat to mix the chips in before roasting, they can take longer to cook, but are fat free! To make sure they don't stick, I use a non-stick covering on my baking sheets, either baking parchment or silicon sheet, and turn them at least once during the cooking.

Sounds interesting, I may have to give them a go. :D

    Today

B ONe round HM and one egg
L Pasta with HM tomato sauce
D - possibly carcass soup from the freezer, going to go have a dip now and see what there is
    S - banana, apple

E - nothing, off sick today so resting in bed all day im afraid.

Rachel - that must be really annoying about the exercise, you poor thing. Regards your "losing the plot "day, I must say, If I lost the plot my day would look much worse than that :D

Going to crawl back into bed and read my Paul Mck book. I also *think* I have his shows on cd somewhere so might watch for inspiration. I am also watching the biggest loser for inspitation

Morning. I desperately want to sit and eat chocolate all day but the plan for today is:

    Shreddies with semi skimmed milk

Linseed wrap with spinach, tomatoes, cucumber and a little cheese
    Muller light and satsuma.

Dinner will be Salmon with something - i'm off to find a recipe.

Tonight I will be doing 30 minutes of my wii fitness coach, might do 45 minutes if i'm feeling brave.

    Hi guys and dolls

All is well here today, for some reason I am constantly hungry at the moment and not sure why but I'm fighting the urge to graze all day :)

B: Porridge made with skimmed milk and water

    L: HM Chana dal

D: HM vegetable curry with brown rice and half a small naan

S: Probably just an apple and banana today so I can have my naan without feeling guilty ;)

This is the recipe I used but instead of spuds I chopped up a big carrot, 2 parsnips, 1/2 cauli and a few frozen peas and simmered until tender. That amount makes 4 portions that equate to approx 200 kCals each which is fine for my lunch on its own or with rice for a larger meal. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/life_and_style/food_and_drink/recipes/article413660.ece

Well today I totally lost the plot.
    B. Left over beans/spaghetti on one piece of buttered toast.
    L. Noodles, peas, sweetcorn and tuna.
    S. Slice of homemade chocolate concrete. Picked at my daughters screwball.
    D. Cheese and tomato sandwich, picked at cheesey wotsits. Quarter of ham sandwich.
    S. Dark chocolate flake and another slice of chocolate concrete.

Exercise: Half a mile running and 5 miles walking (but most of that was with my preschooler - so not at a fast pace).

My family are resenting the time I've been spending exercising. So I've been finding it hard to do cardiovascular workouts. I'm hoping that I either stay the same weight or not put on more than 2 lb.

Take comfort Rachel the pace doesn't matter it is the distance travelled. You burn the same calories walking 5 miles as running them. The only difference is the long term muscle build and the ability to travel further if running in the same time. As I say you are supposed to build more muscle running which even when sedentary burns more calories. However congrats to your LO if they walked 5 miles, too!! Now if you carried them, think of the calorie loss for you!

    today
    B- Ryvita and cream cheese
L - left over lean chops, salad
    D -Pasta Bolognaise
S- Fruit and bowl of cereal if having a hungry day!

    Hi

I would like to join in if I can?

I have lost the plot over the last year as I have had a problem with my leg (no-one is sure if its my hip or my back causing the problem - all I know is that it hurts). It means I can't really exercise and I am nowhere as near active as I used to be.

Of course, I am still eating as much as when I was running 4 miles 3x a week! (I am ashamed to say, I probably am eating more as I am an evening comfort eater, which has got out of control).:o

Well, I am going to start monitoring my weight on a weekly basis on a Wednesday and reporting in on my food intake on here and see if I can sort myself out. I am going to try and go two gentle walks and see how my leg holds up.

I am not following a diet, but doing like the thread suggests - cooking healthy meals from scratch and trying not to eat between meals (only fruit).

Well here goes. Hope there's room for a not so little one!!! :rotfl:

Right I am officially out of control!!!!
Flipping work keeps getting in the way - I'm in Portugal (its raining!) until Thursday and have to eat what's given to me (at a catered for meeting). In addition, I now hate my job, can't wait to leave and am comfort eating because I'm away.

I won't list what I ate yesterday but suffice to say not one thing was a proper meal - all rubbish and most of it for the sake of it.

I fly back early on Thursday morning so am treating that as my fresh start. I'll do my best to limit the damage tomorrow but am at the mercy of the cr*ppy conference food ( no veggie stuff either so am constantly eating every but the meat and still starving).

    NO MORE MOANING!!!!!!

Have had enough of myself, if you know what I mean!
I need to lose 6lb more to get to my stone target (if I haven't put any back on!) - doesn't sound much but I need a massive boot up the bum. Think wedding dress!

Am going to spend a hour escaped fom the boring science crowd and write a meal plan and shopping list to inspire me to get back on track.

Hope everyone else is doing better than me!
