He he, white sauce I can manage, soft boiled egg is that matrix of cooking for me. Omelettes a bit of a mystery too! I feel deprived now i didn't have eggs so might need a nibble!A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

Hi all,
Sometimes I guess I just need a little perspective on things to make me feel better about my weightloss journey.
This time last year I was shopping for ideas for a dress for my friends wedding in October and ended up crying in the changing rooms because nothing in the highstreet shops would fit me.
Fast forward 12 months and I am shopping for another dress for another wedding and I have managed to shoehorn myself into a size 12 in Coast. So although I may be peeved at not having lost any weight for some time, I have definately changed shape
We will all get there eventually, it just takes time, small steps and little reminders that its doing us good. Well done all, stick at it :T
B: Special K and skimmed milk (finishing the box before trying something else)
L: HM butternut squash soupNot sure yet, OH is in charge
S: Medium skinny latte and maybe a slice of HM banana bread if I have a light dinner0 -

It took me about a year to get mine off which was about 2 stone but a friend of mine lost over 5 stone in the same time at SW so it can be done. Whats a year in your whole life?;)Do what you love :happyhear0 -

Hi i'm new here. I tried healthy eating a while back, lost a little and then was very ill with various things and never got back into it. So just over a week ago I started again and my partner is doing it with me. I lost 8lbs last week and my boyfriend 7lbs so a good start.
I have been looking through what everyone has eaten today and I seem to eat a lot more than most of you, now I'm a bit worried! Today I have had:
Shreddies with a sliced banana and semi skimmed milk.
Wholemeal Pitta bread with 2 falafel and salad.
Sausages, potatoes, beans, egg, mushrooms and cherry tomatoes. ( All cooked healthily of course)
Highlights hot chocolate.
6 pints of water
I am 5'4'' and weighed 13 stone 7lb at the start. I walk between 4-8 miles a day doing the school and playschool run and do 30 minutes jogging on my wii fit in the evening - I do 2 nights jogging, 1 night off. I aim for between 1300-1600 calories a day.
Anyway I am determined to stick to it this time so thought I would say hi.
HayleySlimming World - 3 stone 8 1/2lbs in 7 months and now at target :j0
