Hi All, thanks for the info on smoothies Wyrdsister and Taplady for the info on calories etc. :A Rachel I love the concept of Paul Mckenna and believe in it too. I just think I am a bit scared of putting that much "trust" in myself iykwim. Have you been successful with it? I cant believe you did two hours on a stepper!

I very easily get put off food too, like finding a rock, that would have me off food for days smilies18.gif

    Todays plan pink_md_wht.gif

B Banana, Smoothie with oats in
L HM Corrie chicken sandwich, my favourite.
D My HM Spag bol with pasta or some such thing. Taking up to brothers house so depends what he serves me with :o

Not sure of snacks yet. I bought some dried cranberries etc - i wonder would they go in smoothies?

Can i also ask, how do people account for HM bread here for SW? I make a 3way loaf - White, Wholemeal and granary but ive just got some seeded flour which i know is syns for seeds. You know the more Im thinking, the more inclined I am to do Paul McKenna. I really like nuts and seeds and smoothies and stuff and I dont like depriving myself of certain foods.

Right, im going to put my Paul Mckenna on my ipod. rain.gif

(sorry, i've newly discovered smilies !!!)

    good morning :D

not a great weekend diet wise, its always the same when OH is off, we dont get to spend that much time as a family so when we do there are always 'nice meals' as a bit of a treat.
had a BBQ yesterday and didnt go overboard but there seems to be a lot of 'sneak-ins' ..........nice crispy skin on the chicken, butter on my bread and a slice of buttered toast here and there. :o probably not enough to do any real damage but not good enough for a loss iykwim

anyway, trying to be better today,

breakfast: bowl of dorset, hi-fibre cereal

lunch: roast beef, mash, cabbage, yorkies and roasted veg

dinner: promised DS he could have pizza and salad :o

    have a good day :D

taplady, well done on the determination, i can do it somtimes (just not this weekend)

    rachael, 2 hours on the stepper.wow :T

Right! Enough is enough! NO more!!!!

After what's basically been a week off I'm starting again! I've had two jam doughnuts, tea cakes, booze, chips and god knwos what else over the past 7 days - will draw a line under it and start again.

I just weighed on my scales and have put ON a pound and a half by my reckoning but will force myself to go to SW WI tomorrow and find out for sure.

I've been threatening to slip back into bad old ways so have had a stern word with myself and will just get on with now.
I do have a small defence - worked abroad for 3 days, had an interview for a life changing opportunity, had a party and countless other rubbish excuses!

    So today's food will be....

B - none as up late and not really hungry
L - Quorn sausages and beans (may be a little bit of scrambled egg too)
D - HM sweet potato curry and rice (may be a tiny bit of naan bread?)
S - grapes and satsuma segments in a bag to sneak into cinema if we go (instead of Maltesers/extortionately priced pick and mix).

Exercise - walked dog for 20 mins already but will try to do another 45 mins later (split into two walks - he's only little!)

If any one sees me straying from the straight and narrow kick me up the bum with no apologies!

I usually give in too but they are still in the house so the battle is not over yet!:D

Rachel - good luck with the weigh in tomorrow, I did the same last week and put 2lbs on:rolleyes: its just so hard being 'good' all the time.

I have decided to have a small jacket, salad and cottage cheese for lunch.
SW chips and fishfingers and mushy peas for tea I think.

have a good day all x
    Do what you love :happyhear

Zippychick - I've lost a stone with Paul McKenna and healthy eating. It's been very slow (13 weeks) and sometimes I haven't followed his advice but I'm getting there.
The reason why I've upped my exercise is I'm doing a Race4Life in June and I want to be able to run as far as I can. The race is 3.1 miles and so far I've managed two thirds of a mile, so I've a long way to go, but I'm going to give it my best shot.

    Hi all,

Still struggling for motivation after my pap weigh-in after being good all week but I am trying :o

B/L: Tuna and red onion ciabatta roll (HM)

D: Sausage casserole with a few new potatoes, cabbage, broccoli and carrots

S: Slice of HM banana bread

I did 4 miles on my bike today even though it was raining so I am feeling positive, just hope it shows next week

Still that's a sensible loss which you can easier maintain. I'm going to try it for two weeks and see how it goes. I got weighed on friday past so weight in two weeks from that! Good work on the marathon :D

Evening All! Have had a good weigh in, lost 1 lb so am pleased with that. Yesterday I did 6842 steps!

This will be my last post for about 10 days as I am off to New York on Wednesday for a week and have so much to do tomorrow, like hair cut and packing and filling the fridge and organising family while I am gone and arranging the journey to Heathrow and making sure I take all my meds with me and sorting out all the paper work..... well you get the picture!

So good luck to everyone in their weight loss, I will see you all a week from Saturday if I don't have jet lag too badly!

    Love
    Marion
