Gah why do I do it to myself? I knew I would weigh heavier because of TOTM and I still got on the scales this morning, and guess what? 2 lb gain....... so now I am disheartened, fed up and teetering on the edge of a binge.
I promise next week I will try Tappys recommendation of different breakfasts as I did it before and it got things moving it just requires more thought and pre-planning
Anyway, onwards and upwards. Not been too bad today, done lots of cooking to occupy me and keep me away from eating carp.
B: Rice Krispies and semi skimmed milk
L: Wholemeal roll with tuna, red onion and light mayoVeg samber and boiled rice, 2 poppadoms
S: 2 squares of milk choc, 2 ginger nut biscuits
I wouldn't normally bother with the biscuits and choc but I am having a pap day
Hope everyone is OK0 -

My consultant said it is because you would not normally eat rice for breakfast so it is not teaching me proper eating habits. I told her millions of Chinese people eat it every day for breakfast and it didn't seem to be doing them any harm:D - she just gave me "the look" and told me not have it. I still have it about twice a week though!
As far as I know pitta bread is not high enough if fibre or had too much fat - one or the other!

:grouphug: Have a dodgy group hug, and hope you are feeling better soon. Positive thoughts - if you force a smile on to your face after a while you will either feel a lot happier or you will have sore muscles on your face! Either way you will have forgotten your current problems for awhile!:p :grouphug:

Well done frogga! (better late than never)
And well done on the steps marion!
I've been away from posting since I've had my mum and dad staying, we've been eating out a lot, I've not been good at all (all you can eat chinese buffet last night!) and though I've been walking around with them I've felt like i've been doing less exercise so was expecting a gain today. However I've been stressed with various things over the past few days and had a few days of dodgy tummy IBS moments (trying not to be too graphic:o) that must have had an effect because I've actually lost a pound
The good news was when my parents arrived they actually noticed i'd lost weight
About to have a big naughty breakfast and then they're going so I'll be good for the rest of the day!
Breakfast - Potato scone, grilled tomato, veggie sausages, scrambled egg
Lunch - Greek salad, feta cheese, tomatoes and cucumber
Dinner - HM Veggie shepherds pie made with black eyed beans, green lentils and green split peas
Snacks - Banana mid morning and apple mid afternoon
Hope everyone is having a good weekend and hope the surprise parties were fun!Real stupidity beats artificial intelligence every time0 -
I havent been here for a looong time and my weight shows it! Since January I have lost and gained the same 4lbs!! I have tried slim fast (didnt work) went back to slimming world but its just not happening for me at the moment. I joined our local NHS Vitality Weight Management thingy last week which I am hoping will give me a better idea of what I am doing wrong etc. I know MrsM has lost huge amounts of weight without following a "diet" as such just healthy eating so I am going to give it a try.
I hope everyone is okay and doing well/trying their best.

not too sure what i will be eating today OH has gone to the supermarket so that could prove a disaster  i have a big joint of brisket slow cooking in the oven but we may or may not have that today. breakfast was dorset cereal and a couple of oatcakes...beyond that i'm not sure
