Hiya everyone!
I have decided to join you to try and monitor what I am eating and how I an control my binges.
I struggled with my weight since I was 14 - I weighed over 12 stone and was only 5ft at the time, but I took the challenge upon myself and managed to get down to 9stone 4 in a year. I am now 18 and weigh just under 10 stone, but am constantly srtuggling with a binge/diet situation. For the past 2 weeks I have been eating perfectly normally but yesterday I ate a whole easter egg, a whole tub of ice cream, 3 packs of crisps and more chocolate  as well as my normal meals!! I know this isn't very healthy which is why I wan't to get tips/monitor this along with other people on here.
It's difficult because i'm still living at home and everyone in my family is either obese or very obese and as a result I have typically bad food available all the time. My parents are often fussy about buying me 'good' food and as a result I have to eat small portions of the 'bad' food they insist on buying which leaves me hungry as I can't fill up on fruit and veggies and after a while I just snap and eat everything I can find!
I try to buy some food myself each week but I don't have much money as i'm still a full time student only working 8 hours a week and funding my car!
Anyway, just thought I should introduce myself properly and tell you all a little bit about me. Weight loss wise, I would like to be 9stone for the summer and would like to maintain at that weight.
Today i'm going to tidy the freezer and try and make some space so I can go and get a bag or two of frozen veggies from Farmfoods.0 -

Today I am having:
B - egg, mushroom, gammon and tomato in a wrap

Hiya Everyone....and congrats to losers!!!:T
I have had a hectic few days we are possibly moving to somewhere smaller(a lot smaller lol|) and have to sort a heck of a lot of things out which has meant fast food adn stress:o
Had a bad day monday i had a subway(steak and cheese with extra cheese my fave) then had chippy chips and curry sauce for dinner but only a small portion.
I havent snacked on chocolate though or crisps so thatis a bonus.
Tuesday i has a blueberry muffin and half slice of toast from wetherspoons for a late brekkie as i had an appiontment that was stressing me out, had no snacks all day then had a fish pie for dinner and about 5 grapes and that was it which doesn't actually sound that bad apart form the fact at 3pm i had the other half of my subway sarnie:rolleyes:
Today is better....but trying not to get stressed as my mum had to have my old dog who is 14 put to sleep this morning(i left him with her for years a i moved out and she wanted him as she was on her own) but it was sad as he has been ill for a while and was horrible to watch him go downhill so am trying not too think to much about it and keep myself busy
Today:
B: small bowl of crunchie nut( milk and left over the dog had my other dog that is)
L: toasted bagel with light philadelphia
S: if i need any some grapes and a satsumachicken, pepper, beansprout light stir fry
S: coconut macaroon
I think the house move is going to push me towards snacking although to be honest i havent craved choc or anything at all except the subway:oJust got to reach for the fruit and healthier options.
Good luck everyone :T0 -
sophie welcome. Hope everyone is ok xxxPlease do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0

I am so sorry to hear about your dog Gunna - we lost our elderly Cairn over 4 years ago and I still get upset if I talk about it at length. We have got the new chap in my avatar - Tod, and he helps a lot as he is a real sweetie, and gets me out walking!
Well done to all the big losers here - it looks like a good week for everyone - fingers crossed it rubs off on me please lol.
We go on holiday to Devon on saturday so work is mad busy this week..... I sometimes wonder if holidays are worth it 3 days before we go!!
Marion - could you take your evening dose later or are you in pain by then? Looking at the times if you could shift them a bit to make them 8 hourly it may help a bit? I am into homeopathy and find that you can take things alongside and they don't interfere. For general joint problems a combination of arnica, ruta, and rhus tox can be beneficial. pm me if you want any more info.
Had a good eating week so far - had to wimp out on the gym tonight as had the dog at work with me but have made up for it in extra walks.
Another well done to all the losers!
Lesley xNO EXCUSES - THIS YEAR IT'S PERSONAL..........0 -
Evening all!
I'm back from Germany and feel fat and rubbish still.
Its not helped by the fact that I had another uni interview today for teaching and even though it went OK I still felt stressed and grumpy - hence the grab bag size Discos I've just polished off!
The rest of the day hasn't been too bad I suppose, fruit for brekkie, jacket spud and beans for lunch at the uni, HM SW wedges and a quort filllet for tea but a handful of sweets OH bought me for being good and doing my interview (well intentioned but I could have done without them!).
Never mind - I'm back on home soil and can start again properly tomorrow.
Amazingly I weighed this morning and by my scales have lost 1/2 lb but I missed SW yesterday due to travelling so don't really believe it. I guess at least it wasn't a gain
Am off to look at the cupboards and fridge and meal plan with what fresh stuff OH has left and make something to take to work tomorrow to get me back on the straight and narrow.
Tomorrow really is another day and hopefully all of the stressy stuff is now out of the way for a while!0 -
I went shopping today and loaded up on fresh fruit & salad which should see me through the next few days, so this is what I had today:
Brekkie: Crunchy nut cornflakes & soya milk
Lunch: Mash & beans
Snack: Melon & strawberries
Dinner: Wholemeal pitta bread, with chicken and lamb, lettuce, tomato and cucumber.
1st day back on track went well I think!0 -
Gunna - so sorry to hear about your dog - I can only imagine how you must be feeling.
All the best

Well had a better day today and avoided all sweets so feeling super angelic! :A
B~ Glass Oj and banana (before crawling back into bed!)
L~ big salad with 2 boiled eggs (before going to work)
S~ raspberries, strawberries, grapes and apple (on 1st break at 5pm)
D~ wholemeal pitta with salad and chicken pieces (at 9pm) and mullerlight.
Now how good is that!!!!
Got a bad few days coming up though....night out tomorrow night for Girls Aloud concert (yes I'm too old for such things but hey!) this will involve alcohol too! Fri night work, sat will try and be good, Sunday got lunch with the girls which will be bad enough but will also involve some alcohol too! Must try and be good!!:o
JoJo, glad you enjoyed the pasta dish and hope you did well at the interview.
Gunna, I'm sorry about your dog, hope you are ok.
Hi to everyone else.....think skinny!!0
