gratefulforhelp- thats an amazing loss too :T
Well done to us ladies :j
JoJo- I think I am feeling a bit deprived- Think its cos I realised that its only really been 10 days and considering I want a lifestyle change it just shocked me a bit I guess.... And it is the wintery heavy meals that I'm missing- I still hungry alot and although grabbing some fruit does "seem" to fill me up, its just not for as long as say a heavy pasta meal or a huge galaxy bar :rotfl:0 -
I wish your sister LOTS of luck, maybe she will be one of the lucky few that it really works for
If she has a mild thyroid problem, have they put her on meds for this?Mine is a serious problem and I take quite a dose of levothyroxine, if not, then if I were her I would question the doctor as to why they haven't sorted this bit out firstbeing hypothyroid means she will put ON weight quite easily...
Hi Kadiya - thanks for your interest, she's not on any medi as its borderline. I've had a test for this today too - get the results friday - also had other tests done today too. I dont think I've got a problem with my thyroid but I do have some of the symptoms so we'll soon find out.
Well done JoJo, pnq and grateful :T sorry if I've missed anyone.
Frogga - I'm not on drugs:D in fact I've just come off mine:A

Hi everyone, just a quick post as I'm just home from work and need to get to bed otherwise DD will never make it nursery for 9am!!
Did OK but not great today...
B~ Glass OJ (left DD to nursery then came back to bed!)
L~ wholemeal pitta with loads of salad, slice ham and thin spread of extra low fat philidelphia (?sp) (before I went to work)
D~ another pitta as above (well damn it was tasty!!...this was on 1st break at 5pm)
Then had slice of toast, banana and apple on second break at 9.30pm
Did eat quite a few sweets today though....my lovely patients keep bringing up bags of chewy sweets which are my fav and I never feel so guilty because its not chocolate!! They're fat free don't ya know!! ;-)
That looks like loads when I write it down but I thought I had done well today!!! Work just messes me up so much!
Big well done to those who have lost (sorry being lazy and not naming you all!) big inspiration to me to keep going!0 -

Hi all,
So yesterday was OK, got another day of boring paperwork so I am hoping I can hold it together and not snack too much. Going to pop to the shop for some extra fruit just in case.
B: Special K and skimmed milk
L: Wholemeal roll and cottage cheeseThink I am going to Wagamama with a friend so will have the veggie ramen as it fills me up and isnt too horrendous (at least I don't think it is, can never find calories)
Hope everyone is OK, have a great day0 -

Forgot to say GOOD LUCK JOJO not that you're gonna need it.... And even if you do turn up a day early, that to me shows great enthusiasm as well as being punctual and efficient0
