  • Hello everyone
FIrst chance to get to computer since last week, so only just caught up with all your posts and my there were over 10 pages. Lovely to see new people posting and the regulars staying with it. I haven't been too good, especially on the exercise front. Weekend was spent celebrating birthdays and eating cake. Have gone back to scoffing the sweets provided by boss, feel really empty at work, have been bringing in sarnies but they don't help so I'm guessing it's not real hunger. Life all upside down and topsy turvey so finding new routines at the moment and I think I have been compensating with sugar binges. Must put a stop to it.
Dinner is nearly ready, have made a quorn pie with added mush, leeks, cauliflower, along with roast potates and cabbage. Lots of veg. Had apple for snack mid morning so maybe room for a little more fruit if I get the munchies later. At least I will have met my five a day.
Weighed yesterday and sad to report sts (especially after putting on 2lb last week) hope to work much harder this week. Will go for a long walk after dinner.
    WL 11 st 5lb as at 050109. 160209 11st 2lb

good evening :D am late posting as i couldnt face the dodgy work computer.

jojob 4lb thats fantastic :T you must be well chuffed.

well done to anyone else thats lost. and stick with it to anyone whoes struggling :D

a reasonable day today, nipped back to the house after work before DS's karate and couldnt help a bit of picking as i was starving and knew it would be a late tea. so today has been:

    2 x wm toast
left over chicken fajhita (no cheese)
picked at a small wrap with a slice of ham and a couple of oatcakes so it could have been worse.
tea is fish in breadcrumbs and salad, nearly resorted to grabbing a whole load of toast and butter but the fish is now in the oven so theres no going back :rotfl::rotfl:

like i said, not to bad but not ideal, need to be really strict as i think i may be headed back to platauxville

hope you all have a nice evening

    Evening All,

JoJo 4lb is amazing- Well done :T

Think I need to weigh myself soon as I'm starting to struggle just a bit so figured if I saw a weight loss then it would spur me on..... Then again, I guess I could of put on weight in which case the healthy eating is going straight out the window :rotfl:

    B: Musli
L: A few grapes :o I got into my cleaning and it was dinner time before I knew it!
D: Broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, swede, new potatoes and a yorkshire pudding (found some in the co-op that aren't actually that bad for you!)

OMG I lost that in just 10 days!!!!! (I looked back to my first post)

It feels like I've been doing it a lot longer though which is a little disheartening (If you know what I mean) but still 5lb is great!!! Perhaps I need to start adding a few "heavier" bits of food to my diet so I'm not restricting myself so much. Anyone have any ideas?

Brilliant pnq06! Aren't we the golden girls today. :D

Are you feeling a bit deprived though pnq06? What sort of "heavy" food are you missing? Do you mean some sort of wintery comfort filling type stuff?
