Yesterday bought Aldi's medeterranian grilled veg (frozen) that you just stirfry for 8 minutes from frozen - it was much more pleasant than I was expecting at £1.50 a bag - courgettes, grilled red and yellow peppers, onions and aubergine - would recommend it for a nice summery taste. I think it would go nicely mixed into cous cous too. But I didn't check the fat grams on it.

I have this and its really nice - I oven bake it and have it with roasted veg cous cous and eat it cold with some fish mmmmmmmm

Floyd - I like kidney beans in soup(most beans are ok though)

Gunna - I put half a stone on when I went on the depro jab:rolleyes:

brownsauce - great idea about the lettuce:T

not been a good couple of days for me but tomorrow I must get back on track - only just got in, been out since 6.30am and DH and I shared a chipshop tea( 1 third to me, 2 thirds to him) I've got lots of healthy stuff in so there's no excuse and I've now got 3 days off too which will help as work is terrible for me - far too much temptation.

Hope you all have a great weekend x

Morning all, hope things are going well.

Yesterday was good for steps (11,000), and pretty good for eating, but had too much pasta in the evening and didn't stick to my plan. And got roped in to a couple of glasses of wine again. Must exercise more willpower in this area! Still no chocolate or cake though, and feel generally healthier. Might weigh myself today - bit early but if I haven't lost at all I know to get stricter!

    Today's food:

Breakfast: bowl of fruit n fibre, banana (400 cals)

Lunch: apple, poached egg on toast (400)

    Dinner: campbells mushroom soup (300)

    snacks: strawberries, melons and grapes
2015 wins: Jan: Leeds Castle tickets; Feb: Kindle Fire, Years supply Ricola March: £50 Sports Direct voucher April: DSLR camera June: £500 Bingo July: £50 co-op voucher

    Morning all!

I feel like a weight's been lifted! Got the teaching interview out of the way yesterday - 5 hours including teaching tasks (no notice of the subject:eek:), sitting GCSE questions on all 3 sciences, an interview with oral exam and lots of general harrassment including numeracy and literacy tests. Think it went OK but will find out for sure within 10 days:o.

Anyway, this week has been a half and half kind of week - most days I've been good all day only to have trouble in the evenings. Wednesday was a curry night out with colleagues as someone's leaving do (no booze but plenty of curry and other bits), Thursday was good all day then got home really late and had half a portion of chips, egg fried rice and curry sauce from the chinese takeaway with OH and Friday managed to be good until after the interview when I met OH and he decided he wanted to take me for a late lunch to say well done (bless him!). I had a roasted veg and goats cheese tostada - never had one before and it was yummy - kind of kind a pizza made with a tortilla rather than a pizza base. I only had fruit and cereal in the evening to try to linit the damage but I fear the worst!

I'm working away in Germany Sunday -Tuesday evening so that's likely to be difficult to say the least!

Why does life conspire against you?!

So back on the straight and narrow today - went to Mr Ts last night and bought tons of good stuff so I really have no excuse!

    Today's food is ....

B - cereal (milk to dog)
L - scrambled egg on toast
D - not sure (may be out) but if not may just have a jacket spud and beans and cheese

Must try to have at least a few days I can control this week!

On the exercise front - have already been to the park for an hour with the dog and am planning a mega clean of the house as its been a bit neglected this week with work and interview prep. Will also walk the dog again later for 30 mins.

Hope everyone else has a good day.

    Hi all

Well done on only a minor blip Frogga, you have come a long way :T
Soooooooooo p*ss*d off today, still no loss just another maintain :wall::wall::wall:so I'm not sure what else I can do to get things moving again. Riding 8 miles a week on my bike is killing me but I still do it in the hope it is doing me some good. OH said the shape of my legs has changed so I guess I could be building muscle hence the STS but its so disappointing to be so good and not lose anything

We are out and about today so dinner could be a bit hit and miss :o

B: 2 wholemeal toast with HM seville marmalade

    L: Chicken salad

D: Probably some sort of takeaway  will have chickpea curry and boiled rice if its indian, stirfried veg and boiled rice if its chinese and no idea or a day off if we go anywhere else :rotfl:

S: Seeing as we're at a music festival thing i would be rude not to have a bevvy or two ;)

Have a good weekend all :D

    Happy Belated Birthday Frogga! :D
We all deserve treats on our birthday, so am glad you got to enjoy what you wanted :)
Still feeling a bit bleurgh, but last nght we played on the eye toy and boy do my arms ache today! It was a ton of fun though!
    Managed breakfast again today!
I'm really chuffed that I'm managing to get breakfast on most days, especially after I fell out of the habit!it really does set me up for the day :)
Its really dismal here, so am thinking some soup for lunch and am making stir fry for our tea, so should be good! There's going to be a load of veggies in that, which will make me happy, but the littlies aren't terribly into veggies ;)
Oh well, they'll get what they are given! (cruel mother that I am rofl)
    See you later

    Hey Floyd :)
I know you're disappointed by the maintain, but just think...If your OH has actually NOTICED (cause lets face it, sometimes men are a bit...um...tunnel visioned) then you know that you are doing something right!:j
So I say, "Well Done" for maintaining :T
And perhaps OH needs a reward for noticing too ;):D

    morning all!

Frogga - belated Happy Birthday - bet you 'went' well after the allbran cake;):D
Well done on sticking with it and good luck for the weigh in x

Rachel - good luck with the job!

Vixtress - I do 10 and 11 hour shifts but yesterday I went straight pout from work to DHs pigeon club then went grocery shopping too which is why it was such a long day.

Today I'm trying my best to stick to it.

    B - soaked muesli

    S - ryvita dunker

    L - Tuna salad

    S - yoghurt

D - quorn burger or veggie burger, salad and rustic chips

I've also made some lemon and lime sugar free jelly up to snack on when I need something sweet.

Floyd - well done on STS :T- when I've got stuck in the past I've tried to change something such as one time I had a different breakfast every day for a week, it worked and I lost quite a bit that week. I think we need a bit of variety sometimes. I exxpect with your cycling you've gained muscle and toned up - have you measured inches? bet you've lost some!;)

Am enjpoying my days off - hope you're all having a nice weekend x
