Gutted :( thats how I feel today

I have tried so hard this week, nothing unlawful has passed my lips and I have done 4 miles on my bike and I haven't lost an ounce  I can't even come up with a reasonable excuse why either (TOTM, scales broken, backed up, heavy clothes). Just need to try and forget it and carry on, its just hard when this is the first 100% great week I have had in quite some time.

B: 2 wholemeal toast HM jam (no butter)

L: Ciabatta roll with low fat mozarella, vine tomato and pesto

D: Chicken pie with steamed veggies

Have a good weekend all, I'm off out to Delamere on my bike for a sulk ;)

    Morning all

floyd, your weight loss may show up next week - don't get too disheartened;)

Yest I was so tired when I came home that I didn't stick to my plan and had a slice of cheese on wholemeal toast and yoghurt for tea, went to bed (probably too soon after eating) and then spent the rest of the night feeling acidy and sick and had to sleep propped up. Oh the joys of being overweight!! (probably serves me right for not sticking to plan!)

So delicate stomach this morning, just had tea so far will have to think carefully what to have today:think:

Have a good dieting day everyone:A

  • Good morning everyone
I have not been on the puter for over a week and have really missed this thread. Things have changed here as OH is now working from home, I'm so worried his job will go completely. I only work part time and cannot access this site from there. Will have to work out a new schedule for home puter useage.

Anyways, one the food front I have indulged in the cocoa solids and over indulged in fresh double cream, mostly meals have been of the healthy variety. Have increased the salads much to DS dismay. Exercise wise have done a lot of walking, 4 or 5 hours at a time. I have destroyed the pedometer as it drove me mad. Now I'm looking at time spent not number of steps.

Will weigh in on Monday morn but don't know when I'll post again.

Hi and welcome to the new people.
Good luck to all of us.

    Hey :)
Sorry to hear that you STS Floyd, but as Nic said, it will most likely show up next week and you'll find yourself pleasantly suprised :)

Am really tired today, had the most awful nightmares last :(
So far today, I've had a hot chocolate, but am going to have some really nice sandwhiches on granary bread for my lunch. Maybe actually having something in my tummy with give me some energy!
Tea tonight is lasagne with salad (I'm getting through them bags slowly but surely!LOL)
Think I might have a banana and a handful of grapes with my lunch and a pear after to my tea to bump up my 5 a day intake too.
Speak to you later, and hope you're all having a good day :)
  • Kadiya well done, keep at it. Have you considered quorn mince in your lasagne to reduce it's energy content? You could half and half it with proper meat if you don't like the thought of no meat? Or red lentils, yummy and cheaper?

I am having a pants diet day as still feeling yucky, start again properly tomorrow!
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x

    Hi to All :j

I'm wondering if its ok for me to join you? I have read through lots of posts and you have all done amazingly well to stick to eating better and of course to loose weight (I don't like to say the "D" word!) xx

I have been trying for a few years to loose a few lbs but to no avail :o I guess though that my heart wasn't really in it- Well compared to now anyway, it almost seems like a switch has been switch on in my head! I woke up the other day and jumped on the scales to see that I am 14 stone- I was 11.5 stone last summer so the weight is slowly creeping on and so I want to do something about it whilst I still have control and motivation!

In fact I know something within me means that I will stick to it this time because the vienetta is still in the freezer untouched (that would of fed me alone as a snack :o ) from last Friday and the mega huge easter eggs that my mother in law bought us have remained almost (I had a few tiny pieces to satisfy a craving lol!) untouched by me :j Chocolate is my mega downfall- I will eat ANYTHING as long as it is covered in chocolate :o

So for the last few days I have been munching on grapes or veg (I need to encourage myself to eat more fruit as I don't like it!) whenever I feel hungry :j I actually feel great for it too- Didn't think the effects would be so instant!

Anyway, I hope you all except me to be part of your group and look forward to contributing xx

Hi Everyone - I am back! Had a lovely visit with my sister and her husband, lots of visiting, lots of eating and drinking!:o:o:D

I go for official weigh in on Monday morning but am not expecting the news to be good, but I really don't care at the moment. I am sure I will change my mind on Monday though. I have been pretty good since they left yesterday but it is hard to get back in the swing of things, I am sure the shock of weigh in on Monday will help focus my mind:rotfl:.

    Today I have had:

    B - cereal and milk
    S - 2 kiwi fruit
L - bacon and egg in a ciabatta bap
D - coca cola chicken with rice
and later tonight will have strawberries with yogurt and a meringue!
Will try and stay off the wine tonight because that is what really puts the lbs on for me:mad:

Anyway thats enough for now, will post again tomorrow!

    Love
    Marion
