Morning all.
Welcome all new ones! Hugs to all those suffering and in need.
I've discovered I'm a bit less hungry in the morning if I have eggs for brekkie so:
b: one wholemeal muffin toasted, two poached eggs
l: Gillian McPooWoman's Carrot and Almond soup (fancied something different and it sounds a bit weird... will let you know if it tastes any good) A HM Spinach, cottage cheese and sun dried tomato muffin.
d: dunno - probably smoked pork sausage (the lower fat one) and veg
Snacks are..... a nana I didn't eat from yesterday and another small milky way as the treat seems to stop me eating more
Kadiya - make sure you are still eating enough for the little one though - you need to keep your strength up too - so don't go too any drastic extremesworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
Morning all!
Flipping eck! What a lot of news! Hello to Kadiya (look after yourself and don't let them get you down) and Keiss (sounds dreadful!) and slowly fading (don't fade away!)
You'll find that all of us here, no matter how much we have to lose (a little bit or a lot) struggle all the same and we have to stick together. A common cause and all that! So welcome and I hope you find as much help here as I did/do!
Anyway, yesterday was alomost angelic! Stuck to the SW plan and the only syns I had were a tiny bag of Skips (4.5 syns) and a smallish dash of Reggae Reggae sauce on my quorn fillet to make it taste of something.
Went to Mr Ts last night and went berserk with fruit - grapes, strawberries, raspberries, pineapple, banana - and tried the Danone satisfaction ypghurt (or whatever its called!) Was pleasantly surprised , don't like yoghurt usually but it was actually quite nice, very creamy....
Anyway, today's food is....
B - cereal (milk to dog)
L - leftover 5 bean chilli, fruit salad consisting of pineapple, strawberries, and raspberries
D - tuna pasta bake (trying to resist the garlic bread)
S - grapes and maybe a Danone yoghurt thing after tea
That's it for today.
Good luck everyone!0 -

Thanks so much for your encouragement and info rs.
I couldn't remember where I used to see Sue on TV. She does do weird things with aubergines and garlic I seem to remember! I plan on seeing if I can find a recipe of hers to make today. The ice cream sounds great. We have Carte D'Or Lemon sorbet in the freezer at the moment ...mmmmm, but I will unearth the ice-cream maker soon...it will be good for my DS2 who loves ice cream, but is also diabetic and needs to lose a bit of weight, so doesn't have very much at the moment.
I have now had all my breakfast tablets (9 in all), and hope to have a less sleepy day than yesterday. A nice shower first then a trawl through Sue Kreiztman's book for a recipe using chicken is my plan for the morning. Then for the afternoon...a little doze I think, still rather whacked these days.
Food for today:
B: Cornflakes with red milk & a little sugar, OJ, 3 dried apricots
L: ? Possibly a baked potato with cottage cheese (needs using up) & salad
T: Chicken a la Kreizman
Snacks: dried apricots, grapes, fruit of some kind,
Puddings: SF jelly with rasps; fat free lemon sorbet
Have a good day folks

Evening All,
First things first ~ Great to see you Kleiss :kisses3:Your ordeal sounds dreadful, fancy not being able to read my posts for all that time  Bet you're glad your back now
Been to London to visit relatives today which had been worrying me for weeks (as RS will tell you because I kept going on about it) as I knew they would make a fuss about food. They are not supportive of mine and the Tadpoles Vegginess and always comment on my weight. They have no hessitation in telling me I'm too fat or too thin whatever state I happen to be in at the time. I was worried that they would upset me and I'd overeat but I'm ok. I got through it
So, only 2 more weeks til 1st May weigh day ~ rekon I'll be at least 9 st by then because I'm doing so well
Have a good evening you lovely lot you xxxxSay it once, say it loud ~ I'm an Atheist, Anti-Royalist, Socialist, Tea-Total Veggie Frog and PROUD!:D

Frogga this kind of thing makes me mad :mad::mad:
my MIL does this, no-one comments about the tidemark where she's missed with her foundation, or that she badly needs ironed, why do people feel the need to comment? Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
I Know Grateful!!! When I was a teeneager and very skinny ( I had the other eating dissorder then ) we went to visit and my Mum had said before hand that I was seeing a head doctor and they weren't to say anything as I was fragile (stop laughing
) As soon as I walked in the door my Nan said "Jesus wept, look at the state of you!"
Then a few years ago at my sisters wedding when I had got big she said " Blimey Frogga you've really puffed up!" Charmimg
And my response? "Ooooo, mmmmmm, hmmmm" followed by "boo hoo hoo" and either puke puke puke or munch munch munch depending on the year you understandSay it once, say it loud ~ I'm an Atheist, Anti-Royalist, Socialist, Tea-Total Veggie Frog and PROUD!:D

Kadiya well done for your positive attitude. At least starting healthy eating now means less to lose after baby is born. Echo clever Frogga's suggestion about breastfeeding, great way to lose weight afterwards. Also, you will be fitter for labour, which can only help. Can you swim?
Frogga, a feisty froggy like you with such as great attitude should find it easy all the way, you are leaving me way behind already.
I've just realised it is two months to the wedding I wanted to lose 2 stone for and so far...six pounds. I need to stop fannying around and making excuses.
Taplady hope you managed the funeral tea and didn't let it manage you!
All the best everyone. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Good evening!!
Well, today was a great day!Right up until I had to call my mother, and now I feel like rubbish! :mad:It's a looooong story, but hubby has told me to ignore her, I'm ok and that it doesn't matter what she thinks...just wish my head would listen!lol:o
Well, didn't manage to have my breakfast, I just seemed to run out of time and people started to turn up, had to dash to the doctos before it closed for half day and just...EEK!
BUT!
Didn't go mad on the food, had a banana to make up for it, had 2 Staffordshire Oatcakes with cheese and rindless bacon followed by a muller yoghurt for tea this evening, very yummy!!!
and the sandwhiches at lunchtime were lovely, even with the mountain of salad they had on them:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Congratulations on making it through your 'occasion', you did well with the stress!:T
And Hi GratefulYes,I can swim, but there is the small matter of not being able to get into my swimming costume...which is a size 32 and it's probably best all round if I didn't hoorify people by trying to squeeze into the poor thing
.
On the plus size, hubby found the treadmill we had tucked away...somewhereso I can get on that once the littlies have gone to bed at the end of the day
Hope everyone is ok!0 -
