    Morning all!

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend in the nice sunshine?
Saturday was OK for me foodwise - just a little slip with a very big handful of Maltesers but I did give the bag to the OH and have ignored them ever since!
Yesterday was good - stuck to the plan completely with lots of free foods and a small tuna steak, jacket potato and salad for tea.

Feel a bit bloated today though so hope that passes for tomorrow's WI.

    Today's food will be....

B - cereal (milk to dog) B choice
L - supernoodles (free) and fruit salad consisting of grapes, strawberries, raspberries and pineapple (free)
D - chick pea dahl and boiled rice (all free)
S - 2 satsumas maybe a piece of cheese in the evening for calcium

Hope everyone else has a good day....
  • Am going to do much better today, pnq06 I would start the exercise now if doc says you fit enough. tomorrow never comes!

    Hi all,
Well friday I had a grumpy fed up day so ate two fun size mars bars, a pack of discos, and then had a half portion of chips with a fishcake from the chippy coz I couldn't be bothered to cook myself lunch :o

    So swiftly moving on ;)

Have been doing my 5,000 steps a day and so this week am moving up to 6,000 steps a day (with 2 rest days per week).

Got about £3 left to last me to payday so should be able to be good (apart from the kids mars bars in the cupboard :o). And the car's mot and tax are due by the end of the month so who knows, could be walking a lot more after that (but hopefully it will pass).

    Food today:
b: nuitrigrain bar - not really enough but didn't fancy anything
    l: butternut soup
    d: kippers and veg

snacks - disco's and a mini milky way - better than a mars though :o - forgot to bring any fruit.

Ugh - had a week of over-indulgence due to rellies staying for DDs first birthday and feel utterly revolting (not to mention somewhat shocked at the size of me in birthday pics!). So feeling ultra-determined to be good.

Breakfast: had a banana at 6am followed by 2 slices of bread with mackerel pate at 9am (400 cals)

Lunch: prepared a salad last night, it's got a bit of leftover tuna mayo and egg mayo on it though (but extra lite) - 400 cals at a guess)

dinner: battered fish and peas (400 cals)

Snacks: have melon and grapes in the fridge and planning on drinking lots of water!

Will get out for a long walk with DD later as the weather seems nice.

    Thank You Muchly gratefulforhelp

    Todays Plan is-

    B: Musili with dried raisins
L: Leftover veg from last night and maybe a yorkshire pudding
D: Salad in Pitta with Hummus and Quorn Pieces
S: Plenty of fruit to hand!

I might get a pedometer just to see how many steps a day I do actually take as I bet its nowhere near enough :o

I'm also at the doctors at 3pm just to see if I'm in the clear to diet and exercise full on after a health scare recently :j

I've just had some musli for breakfast (haven't had an appetite this morn!) and thought that I would have to add extra raisins as I remember hating musli from years ago but nope, I had it as is and it was actually quite tasty :D

    Hey Everyone :)
PNQ, I would usually have eaten fairly large meals with plenty of chocolate in between...I'm afraid it's a throback from when I was a kid...and we had to eat EVERY mouthful, so its a bad habit more than anything :S
With having little ones though, (and on the consultants directions) I need to eat healthier.I want my kids to see that there are some things in life that can be enjoyed with excess (even chocolate ;) ), so am having medium sized meals with plenty of veggies and they help me to snack on fruit in between :D They already seem a lot happier about it (probably because mummy isn't so hung up on food at the moment) and the baby in the tummy is loving it!
As for exercise, like grateful says, if you can, then do.i have no chance today :( and it's really upset me, because it's such a lovely day :'(
On the plus side, I had breakfast! woohoo!
Lunch has been a couple of slices of cooked beef, 2 little slices of granary bread and some salad. Thoroughly enjoyed it!
Tea tonight is fishfingers and oven chips..which should be ok..right?
Anyway, hope everyone has a lovely day, and will catch up with you later :)

Well I am feeling pretty depressed and sorry for myself today. After my holiday with my sisters visit I have put on 8 lbs in the last two weeks. The really scary thing is that I didn't really think I had been that bad! I know we had wine most evenings and dessert was served much more than I normally would have done - but 8 lbs!:mad:

Anyway I am drawing a line there and starting all fresh and hopefully can at least lose that amount before I go to New York next month.

    Today I have had/will have:

    B - banana and yogurt
L - sardines in tomato sauce with salad and cottage cheese with wholemeal bread roll
s - 3 scan brans with strawberries and yogurt
D - Cottage pie made with quorn and baked beans

Will go for an extra walk tonight as well, will take an extra pain killer about half an hour before I go to keep the arthritis quiet!

    Love
    Marion
