Hello everyone, good to see some losses and some newbies! How was that weigh-in tappy?

I have been in hiding a little, but not because I have been scoffing easter eggs in the dark ;), just found the more I was thinking about food the hungrier I seemed to get :D, so thought I would give posting a miss for a bit.

Went away for the weekend a couple of weeks ago and had a lovely wine-tastic time which resulted in a 2lb gain. As of last weigh-in I was 13st 6lb. Since then I have not binged which is good, but still been a bit snacky. However, OH has been off work for easter so I have had some lovely lie-ins which has helped my eating a LOT. It's amazing how postitive and strong you can feel after a good night's sleep. Not smoked either!

Have also turned down alcohol when OH gets himself some. I've given up nagging him really, and he knows he drinks too much and must sort it out soon so am going to see how he goes over the summer. In the meantime I shall try to set him a good example and not get roped into it myself. I always eat carp when hungover!

My DD's first birthday next week and have family descending from all over, so will save up drinking and cake for then ;)

    Umm, anyway food today:

breakfast: bowl of fruit n fibre (400 cals)

snack: sugar-free chuppa chupp (my new secret weight-loss weapon lol)

lunch: hm stuffed peppers (stuffed with red and green lentils, quinoa, roasted veg and cottage cheese - and topped with a little wendsleydale and cranberry cheese - i.e. stuffed with whatever was in the fridge :D
(250 cals) one of these with 1/4 of hm pastryless quiche (200) and some salad with dressing (100). Plan to have same for lunch tomorrow.

dinner: Have veg to use up so will make a veg curry with small naan bread (600)

    Hi all,

Still here and doing OK, had a few good days now so I am happy that my wobble is behind me.

    B: Special K semi milk

    L: Wholemeal toast

D: Not sure yet, maybe sushi, maybe spaghetti matriciana. Depends what OH makes

S: Rice crispie easter nest with 2 mini eggs

Busy today but looking forward to a few days away from work even though I will still have work to do while I am off.

    Well done all :)

Hello! Its all very quiet around here!

Yesterday's food went exactly to plan and managed a bit of exercise too so quite pleased with myself. The dreaded PMT has begun and I'm hungry when I shouldn't be so will have to try to find measures to combat this that don't include the choccy machine at work!

    Today's food is...

B - cereal (milk to dog) (B choice)
L - cheese and pickle sandwich (HM) (A and B choice), 2 satsumas, small banana
D - not sure yet but it has to be "free" as I'm off to the pub quiz later and may treat myself to a drink to celebrate the Easter hols and therefore I need to save my syns! Perhaps a Pasta and Sauce - off to check the syn values now!

    Hi all,

Finally things are moving in the right direction, lost 2lb this week and even though I'm not as light as I have been in the past 6 months at least I am back on track :)

Off out on my bike today so hopefully that will add to the movement hee hee

B: 2 wholemeal toast with HM blueberry jam

L: Our usual weekend sandwich of warm ciabatta roll with pesto, light mozarella and vine tomato

D: Vegetable curry with rice and poppadoms (friend and I share a portion of each because its too much) possibly a hot cross bun

Have a great weekend all :)

    Well done tappy :D

Yesterday I weighed myself to see how I had done after a week of no-binge. Put on 2 lb! Now 13st 8lb.

I reacted by eating a Lion Bar (last eaten circa 1985) and getting drunk.

HI Guys... Frog in need of help this morning :o

I'm all muddled up and confused as to what I've done wrong  Just need some common sense from you lot I think.

Ok, first things first...I had a little binge last night. I had my usual days food , but then I had 1 small packet of peanuts (v small, 160cals) 3 sticks of red liquorice (210 cals) a handfull of mini eggs (???) and about 1/2 a choc egg. Compared to what I could put away, that wasn't bad. Anyway I weighed myself this morning and I haven't lost a thing in 2 weeks  Surely that little binge wouldn't have made me weigh more, so I actually haven't lost in 2 weeks

I'll list what I have been having on a typical day so you can see if it's too much:

Breakfast ~ Porrige with banana and soya milk/rice milk
    or
    Wholewheat museli with rice milk
Snack ~ 1 ryvita with houmous
    or
small handfull of dried fruit and 6 nuts
Lunch ~ 2 pieces of seedy bread as a sarni with marmite/houmous/p nut butter
and a wholemeal hot x bun

Snack ~ 1 fruity museli bar

Tea ~ Jacket pot, loads of veg, beans

    Snack ~ soya yog/alpro pud

So my question I guess do you think that's too much? I am still 17st so surely that isn't too much for someone with that body weight? I've only been being good for 2 months so I shouldn't be plateuing already?? Perhaps the little binge last night added to the weight and the scales are not correct? I just don't know and I feel very disspondant. One more thing, people say it gets harder when you're older, but I'm only 36. I know in my 20's it came off a stone a month, and it always does come off that quick ~ but not this time :o

Any ideas on what I've done wrong??

Happy Easter from a Sad little Frog xxx

Do you think cutting out the bread or cutting down on the carbs might help frogga? What you're eating doesn't look much at all, but it looks slightly carb-heavy to me. I'm thinking that may be why I put on in the last couple of weeks despite being pretty restrained, I only have to look at bread to put on weight.
