Hello all!
Hope everybody's day is going ok?
At WI last night I lost 1lb which I was quite pleased about as with all of the work travelling and hotel food (not to mention a full 3 course dinner at the FIL's 60th birthday) I haven't had the most successful diet week!
Anyone know the syn value of a hot cross bun?
They sneaked into my basket at lunchtime!!!
Have a good day.

Hello velocity.girl :j:j Welcome to our group, you will receive lots of support on here, lots of knowledge, just need to keep an eye out for the wildlife!
Do you have a diet plan in mind? I go to Slimming World so I am happy to help with any questions on that for you! Don't worry about how much you have to lose, just aim for losing half a stone - then do it again, and again etc!!:D

Hi all :wave::wave::wave::wave:
I have had a rubbish few weeks to be truthful, I have no excuse, no probs at work or home, yet I just can't seem to get a handle on things and I think its pure boredom thats causing it this time
This weekend will be my 'organising myself' time and that means getting rid of any crap in the house, batch cooking to make sure I have a nice variety of lunches available and meal planning as this has slipped recently. I might switch to muesli for brekkie as porridge is just making me sweaty and uncomfortable in the mornings so thats the plan.
B: Wholemeal toast and butter
L: Cornflakes and semi milkHM quorn chilli and rice with a huge side salad
S: 8 squares of choccy
Heres hoping that tomorrow will be better0 -
Welcome Velocity Girl! Ignore that nutty frog...you'd never think to listen to her how well brought up she was!
Haven't been great to-day...OH loves breakfast out in a particular greasy spoon and this morning I had a bacon sandwich and cappuccino there for breakfast...had half an apple for lunch as I wasn't hungry, then roast beef, peas, beans and baked spuds for dinner...might have a kiwi before I go to bed, feel as if I've eaten a mountain.
Good luck all

Good morning
There must be something in the air as I too have been struggling. Did a meal plan on Sat and haven't been able to do any of it due to unexpected changes. Have had terrible headaches and by the time I get home really don't want to cook, so turned to quick fixes in the form of choc biscuits, hot x buns and toast.
Will get back on track from today. Planning to make a batch of bolognaise sauce will put the tomatoe onions etc in the slow cooker before I go to work and add quorn when I get home. Have found quorn no good in the slow cooker but if I just have to add it to rest of sauce and cook pasta when I get in I might be able to produce a meal tonight, and if not one of the other lazy so and so's in this house should surely be able to manage that. Half the sauce will be for the spag bol the other half will be for lasagne tomorrow, a family favourite.
Welcome Velocity Girl.
