Hello everyone - hope you are all okay.
Marion - hope you don't get too stressed about your sister coming - It will be lovely to see her again after all this time and I'm sure she won't even notice the house (which I'm sure is perfectly lovely anyway!) Well done on STS at such a stressful time.
Well done to to oher losers and STSers
Mrslovetocook - I am following SW at the moment and find that, if you stick to it, it works really well, but it is one of those diets that if you fall off the wagon you have wrecked it because you get 10 - 15 syns a day and that is not alot when you think that 1 slice of bread from a large sliced loaf is 6 syns and marg on it adds another 6 syns! I do agree with the others though that it is the most OS of all the diet plans - they encourage the use of whole foods and whilst you can have some packaged foods as free foods, they tend to be quite healthy and OS anyway (baked beans, tinned pulses, rice, pasta etc).
Vixtress - I know JUST what you mean about being able to stay away from the choc but not being able to leave other stuff alone! My real diet wrecker is bread - it's weird but if I have even a measured amount of bread it seems to set me off on an eating quest - For 6 days last week I didn't have any and my diet was great - I was still eating lots of lovely stuff and enjoying my food and I felt so much better and then at the weekend I had some toast and before I knew it, it was game over. So I started back yesterday but went out with a friend who insisted that we went to McDonalds because she is doing the Monopoly game so I had the chicken salad :T and then had mozzrella sticks and a mcflurry:o - then I was off eating all kinds of rubbish again and last night felt really sick and got my heart palpitations for a few hours - eating junk is just such a bad idea but I still do itAnyway - today I am back at it again - I weighed in yesterday morning and don't even want to tell you what my weight has gone up to so I am just going to post a result each Monday until I get to a weight that I can bear thinking about! Today I am going out to lunch with my sister but I have chosen a place where they will do a jacket with plain tuna and salad so that's okay, and I have had 42g of all bran with skimmed milk for breakfast, with a banana sliced on it. I have chicken thigh fillets in the fridge for tea - they are so tasty if you put a bit of Schwartz chicken seasoning on them and then dry fry them - loads of fat comes out which you drain off and then drain the chicken pieces on kitchen paper. The Schwartz seasoning tastes like the coating on KFC, but without the batter obviously (and the gravy, corn, fries, full sugar coke and mini donuts which come with whenever I go there)!
rachel - hope the cystitis is getting better - I get it from time to time and the cranberry does help I think.
Hope you are all okay and enjoying the nicer weather - it is really nice here today after a few days of bitter cold!Jane

Morning all!
Back in work today but still constantly weeing! Not as painful as yesterday though.
Yesterday I managed to stick completely to plan and even resisted a Breakaway at 10pm whilst watching telly with OH (who had 2 biscuits and a leftover doughnut!) My halo was positively gleaming!
Anyway, its WI today and I wasn't happy with the last one when I had to pop to another group to get it done - I've convinced myself that their scales are different (even though I know deep down they're probably not!)
So fingers (and legs for me lately:rotfl: ) crossed!
Today's food is...
B - cereal (milk to dog) (B choice)
L - left over veggie chilli, grapes (all free)
D - more chilli as will be at WI and then dog walking so needs to be quick (good job I like it!) - will put little bit of grated cheese on top (A choice)
S - banana, may be a tiny biccie (after WI of course!)
Good luck to everyone else.....0 -

Had a better day yesterday. Not fantastic as I still had a (small!) slice of cake but definitely better than how I had been doing last week. So slowly bringing myself back down off the junk. Lets hope each day gets easier!0

Oh my goodness, what a mad couple of days I've had! My (not yet) MIL was taken into hospital on Saturday night and that's meant staying at hers to look after the dog and wait for her to be discharged, hopefully that'll be today. I have lost the plot food wise but I'm not worrying about it too much, there are more important things in life. Today has been: B= 1 cinnamon and raisin bagel, L= jacket spud with a tin of ratatouille and a conf pear, D= hm bacon and leek flan, spuds and brocolli. It's nice to be back here again, I do miss looking out for how everyone is doing. Hope everyone has a great day. It's up to me now and nobody else.0

Hello all!
Hope everybody's day is going ok?
At WI last night I lost 1lb which I was quite pleased about as with all of the work travelling and hotel food (not to mention a full 3 course dinner at the FIL's 60th birthday) I haven't had the most successful diet week!
This week its back to normal and I'm feeling better already - better food, a bit of exercise and sleeping in my own bed. And the sun is out which always makes you feel more cheerful doesn't it!
Anyway, today's food is....
B - cereal (milk to dog) (B choice)
L - the last of the veggie chilli leftovers (thankfully!), grapes (all free)
D - 2 quorn burgers (1/2 syn each), HM potato wedges and salad (if its not died in the fridge!)(both free)
S - banana (free)
Anyone know the syn value of a hot cross bun?
They sneaked into my basket at lunchtime!!!
Have a good day.0 -
