    Merry Christmas everyone :)

Had to weigh this morning, wanted a xmas present for me, and pleased to report 2lbs off since Sunday! Pleased as punch.
    Weight loss to date - 8st 13lbs :j
  • Hi everyone, well done to anyone who's managed to stick to healthy eating over the past week :T and a Happy Christmas to you all

We're off to see family from tomorrow until Tuesday, so will be fed well over that period. Once I'm back I'm going to join this thread properly. I have gained a huge amount of weight over the past few years, partly due to inactivity due to illness and partly due to greed :o I have an aim for 2009 of losing half a stone a month for the whole of the year... this time next year I want to have lost 6stone with one stone to go to target.... I'm hoping I might be able to shift that last stone over the year, but I tend to freak at the amount of weight I need to lose, so am going to focus on half a stone a month for now, anymore is a bonus :rotfl:

Good luck to all for 2009, both weight loss and money saving wise :j
    Grocery challenge:D

    Hi all

Not posted for a while because I am just NOT MANAGING to keep to any sensible regime, but it is a pleasure to pop in and see how many of you are doing so well. Might reappear once the chocolate stash has run its course.

    Ciao all!

    Hi all,

Today was worse than yesterday because we have been using up leftovers. Started off with brunch of HM quorn lasagne and HM coleslaw, bit of a strange one but the lasgne needed using up as I find that once its frozen its never as good.

    B/L: Lasgne and coleslaw

D: Turkey and stuffing sandwich, 1 sausage in bacon, pickled beetroot, some cheddar and wensleydale on water biscuits with HM chutney a few Walkers French fries crisps and a stuffing ball.

To be honest, the cheese has made me feel a bit sick because I'm just not used to eating it anymore :( Lots of water to flush out the salt I think

I just ate 4 Bendicks mint chocs as well
  • Hello to everyone. Hope you have all had a nice xmas, whether it was a quiet one with the family or a big one with friends and parties.

Im pleased to say that I can report a small drop of 2.4lb. To be honest I would have been happy with an STS week given the time of year so a small drop in weight is just a bonus.

Normal service (nearly normal) is now resumed though and its back to some really sensible eating.

Bran Flakes w/mixed fruit & banana
    Fruit
    Soup w/toasty squares
    Undetermined snack
Probably a chicken pie with boiled pots and veg

I would really like my first weigh in of 2009 to be under 400lbs so Im looking to drop 4.6lbs this week, and I think Im prepared to do anything to achieve it (what are the most potent laxatives  )

Good luck to all for the coming week, especially over the new year.

And to all thosoe that like to plan their celebrations early :easter_os
  • I have been totally off plan for the last week but while I thought I enjoyed it at the time, having made the decision to get back on plan this week it comes as a relief! I hav just come back from being weighed and was expecting very bad news and boy did I get it - 7lb gain!:o

    My plan today is:

Breakfast - scan brans with yogurt and raspberries (heb, free, free)
Lunch - jacket potato with chilli (free and free)
Dinner - roast lamb with mashed potato, carrots and green beans (free)
Will probably have a couple of glasses of wine tonight for my syns and will use up my hea in coffee during the day. Any munchies between meals will be addressed with fruit!

    Good luck everyone
