Lol, you are dead right. Baby is keeping me awake, and I didn't even get a mother's day lie-in! When you are up at 5.30/6am every day it makes for a very long morning and I know I would eat less if I was able to stay in bed more.
Doesn't help that my hot water has broken down and i can't afford to get it fixed, so I do feel somewhat mingin after weeks without a bath. But this morning spent an hour boiling kettles and pans and had a good long soak, so feel much better now.
And have a bit more determination to look after myself after the smoking binge. Truly felt on the verge of a heart attack last night! :eek:Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -

Murder innit?
Well I had a lovely first mother's day (even without a lie-in). Walked to the beach where bubba had her first taste of sandand undeterred kept trying to shovel more in her mouth. Nice salty chips for he ma and pa.
Was great fun though, lovely weather. Then popped into the soft play area which was free for under 12 month olds and she had a great time pottering about while we had a cuppa.
Was just good to get out!
Still feeling carp and run down though, that smoking binge did mne absolutely no favours.

Good morning
Mother's day went well, OH and I travelled to se our mums, spent an hour with his then collected mine and went to a NT property, had a lovely lunch veggie bake with boiled pots, carrots and cabbage grown in the grounds. Walked round the house and gardens for a couple of hours then went for cake and tea. Was scrummy. Back to mum's and spent a couple of hours with her playing cards. OH went off to visit a few more of his rellies. Got home about 8, DD had baked me a cake which it would have been rude not to try and DS had bought me a box of thorntons. Will lessen the damage by sharing these. So all in all a good day.

Hi all,
Feel a bit rough today, my guts are a bit sploshyI hope I haven't got the gut-rot that is going around. I hate it when people force themselves into work when they are ill and make everyone else sick by spreading their germs :mad:

((hugs)) to jojob it does get easier....honest! are you taking any vitamins? i am feeling pretty run down and frequently unwell at the minute (probably stress at work and running round after the kids) and i find that taking biggish does of vit c (1000mg) and a multi vit does help a bit. it might be psychological but who knows, might be worth a try.
today started with 2 x wm toast (cant quite face the cereal after yesterday morning :rotfl: )
am out for lunch with a work collegue so need to be careful. not sure what the healthy options will be but im sure it wont be as low cal as it should be.
dinner should be lefter overs from yesterdays roast but i might make and freeze some veggie burgers with those and have a salad instead.
snacks will be fruit, dried apple or a muller light.
have a good day all- prior planning prevents poor performance!

So as usual for me an indulgent weekend but nothing too bad. I think the reason for the non-inch loss is my recent increase in the amount of beer I've been drinking! This was of course while I was watching the rugby so the end of the 6 nations will hopefully be a good thing for my waistline!
Went running yesterday & did 4k and it's karate training tonight so that'll help even things out a bit! I hope!!!!
Hope everyone else is doing well!0 -
