Morning all....
Yesterday's food stuck to the plan and syn count but I felt that I was eating too much - daft isn't it?
Already today I have taken the dog to the park and had a good walk round, cleaned the house from top to bottom and am just about to think about some lunch. We're going out later tonight (after the Welsh rugby - come on Cymru!!) but I'm going to drive so no naughties from booze or drunken binging on rubbish food.
So food today will be ....
B - cereal (milk to dog)
L - HM potato salad, few salad bits from fridge to use them up and maybe some Quorn fake bacon
D - meat free kiev and wedges (maybe)
Have a good Saturday!0 -
Morning Peeps,
Hope your part of the country is as beautiful and sunny as mine is this morning, ooops afternoon already
Been writing my Mum a Mothers day card and just dripped my Beetroot Albran and Marmite sandwich all over it  Clumsy frog. I've written a little ditty so thought I'd share it with you all as I'm an expert on writing things in cards you know
I spent hours in the shop today
Looking for this card
There were loads of more expensive ones
So the decision wasn't hard.
But it's not about the cash you spend
Or the grand gestures you make
It's about the warmth and love we send
And the warmth and love you take
"Frogga, you're a special Mum" they say
and I agree that this is true
but there's one reason alone for that ~
I learnt it all from you x
Dya think she'll see the funny side?
Counting down 7 more days til the grand weigh in next Saturday. Have nice rest of the weekend guys xxxxxxxxSay it once, say it loud ~ I'm an Atheist, Anti-Royalist, Socialist, Tea-Total Veggie Frog and PROUD!:D

Thanks for the welcome everyone. Things haven't been going too well - OH just doesn't seem to grasp calorie counting! Had planned tea yesterday as home cooked Cptn Birdseye cheap breadcrumbed fish and a few chip shop chips. I got delayed at work, so OH cooked - did twice the fish per portion than I had planned, and HM chips (which were too nice
)
This weekend being Mother's day, I've been told he's cooking tomorrow as well, but at least I've been able to persaude the kids not to buy me chocolates.
Breakfast was two slices of toast and apricot jam (just a thin spread of butter) Cup of filter coffee with a little !% fat milk and sweetners (going to look at dropping the sweetners, which I only have in coffee, as I've only been using them since Christmas, and like the other poster (sorry, I'm terrible with names) my sweet things craving has rocketted (not helped by Home Bargains selling Thornotons mis shapes at stupid prices)
Lunch - probably soup and toast, bag of Fruitibu from Approved Foods
Tea - HM beefburgers, baked jacket wedges and plenty of veggies, maybe a small piece of lemon loaf cake.
I think that you are right about the sweet cravings increasing with sweetners Raksha - I find that if I have diet drinks I seem to eat loads more for some reason. I also find the same thing if I use sweetners in coffee. I have instant coffee and also tea without sugar but if I am in Starbucks I like the add some sugar - now I compromise by having 1 little packet of sugar in it and that is fine. I also buy the Splenda brown sugar mix - it's half sweetner and half brown sugar and that seems not to have the bad effect either.
Forgga - your little ditty is lovely! I'm sure your Mum will love it! You could get a job writing verses for Hallmark cards - you'd make a bomb!
Today I have had:
Breakfast - banana and two plums
Snack - packet (100g) of M&S cooked chicken breast - I was in M&S and I was starving!
Lunch - grilled gammon piece with poached eggs and dry fried tomatoes; small dry wholemeal roll, cup of tea
Am planning to do a mince casserole type thing for tea - extra lean mince cooked with tomatoes, onions, chopped carrot and swede, potatoes and celery, oxo, mustard and herbs - it's lovely!
Snacks are likely to be apple (got some lovely cox's in Sainsburys), plums (aldi 69p ones are lovely ATM) and mullerlight (chocolate orange one)
Hope you are all having a good weekend. It's proper cold here today! Day three eating well and I already feel a better sense of wellbeing - hopefully I will catch frogga up and be able to go 7 weeks!Jane

Glad you thought so RS ~ I took it over to my Mum, who opened it and read it aloud, and the man she married (I refuse to acknowledge this gentleman as my Step father) said "oh puke, what a load of corny crap" But I'm not gonna allow such a moron make me turn to the food for comfort
I ask you, with people like that in my life is it any wonder I have self esteem issues?

Stand firm and proud frogga - we have faith in you and your poem was lovely!
That man - who certainly is no gentleman - sounds like he has pretty serious issues of his own - perhaps he feels the need to put himself up by putting you down? However he can only do that if you let him! Are you going to let him? - NO YOU ARE NOT!:T:T:T:T
Love

Frogga your poem was lovely, but your Mum loved it, and after all, that is all that matters. Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0
