    Morning all!
Bit of a drama yesterday - the central heating went capoot and the house was freezing!
Anyway managed to get an engineer and its all fixed now and I'm £150 worse off:mad:

BUT I did manage to completely stick to the plan and only had 8 syns and lots of nice good for you food

Todays food is a bit hit and miss due to lack of organisation but this is it...

B - cereal (milk to the dog)
S - pack of low fat crisps
    L - supernoodles and grapes
D - maybe pasta and pesto (fancy it)

Not very exciting but its shopping day tomorrow!

    Have a good day!

    Hi all,

I'm still here but been uber-busy in work so not much time to post anything meaningful ;)

Welcome to all the new folk, you'll find you pick up tips as you go along and I find reading peoples daily menus helpful as it gives me ideas of things to eat. As others have suggested its very much the ethos that we cook from scratch and have small amounts of nice things rather than banning them altogether as it is a lifestyle change rather than diet. Portion control is key to success, even if it means buying smaller plates! I have huge side salads or big sides of veg with my meals as it fights the psychological voices that say I can't have much to eat so i don't feel deprived.

    Good luck all

    B: Nothing (tut tut)

    L: Vegetable ramen soup

D: Not sure yet, OH is cooking so it will be something healthy

    Hello Everyone,

Well I went back to SW - pretty much as expected - lots to lose! I must remember that the journey of a lifetime begins with a single step .......
Anyway, motivated but always such a lot of rubbish available at w*rk that I MUST RESIST.
Have managed to keep to the plan so far.
Hope you are all having a good day.

    Afternoon folks,

Had a banana for breakfast again to-day....in a hurry to take OH for blood test, then had BLT and some chips for a very early lunch, dinner will be ham and lots of veg with potatoes...just had some grapes so if I can stay with just that I will be happy enough....for some reason haven't been drinking much lately, not even tea or coffee, so am on my second pint of water to-day....get very thirsty sometimes but don't always drink enough...stupid woman!

    Good luck to all

L- 3 small crackers with low fat spread, a tomato and 3 small slices of ham.

I bow to you frogga :D

Though it's only because the toad has taken up residence at mine you know, you should be thanking me for taking him off your hands. ;)

Feeling very very depressed at my complete inability to eat properly for a sustained period. And smoking has crept back in too. I feel like a complete wreck physically now, totally drained and tired and fat and lethargic.

Will attempt to get back to it tomorrow.
