Hi all, welcome to all newbies.

Yesterday was not very good - had a HM curry using a dhansak sauce from Aldi (lovely and spicy) and peshwari naan (and not the low fat option either :p) - then to top it off had a small glass of white wine. But it all tasted so good!!!

Back on track today hopefully :o

b: oats, water, honey, nana - and a nuitrigrain bar
l: hm Butternut squash soup and a roll
d: lightly battered fish fillets (baked) and low fat chippies

Snacks - apple, nuitrigrain bar, malt loaf.

    Hello all!

Yesterday's food was fine - no extra picking after meals.

Today has started quite well and here's the plan....

    B - banana (running late)
    S - grapes
L - HM potato salad, beetroot, cucumber, lettuce, cheese, tomotoes and a banana
D - not sure yet but may be sweet potato wedges and quorn fillet with salad (to finish it off!)

No syns to speak of there but may have a little evening treat:p

    Hope everyone's doing ok....

    Hi folks,

Was pleased with the exercise taken while away...at least an hour every day walking on the beach, sometimes even paddling in the sea!

That said I need to do something constructive....think that the AA system of one day at a time might be best at present...might have to break that down to an hour at a time to start, seem to have lost concern for myself and my weight so to-day I have had

    Banana and hm cappuccino;

Roast pork and cream cheese sandwich on wholemeal bread

Not sure what is for dinner, there is quite a bit of pork left and almost half a chicken from yesterday....might have pork with salad and potato and keep chicken for to-morrow...

    Yogurt and fruit as snacks

    Good luck all

    Marie

Hi everyone and welcome newbies. Not too bad today B= x2 toast and a banana, L= salad and left over shredded duck and an orange and dinner is hm slowcooker chilli made without oil with rice. I have a cuppa soup and another orange if I get peckish before dinner. Will have a nice long walk this evening before getting the bus home, the sunshine makes the task much easier. Hope everyone has a good day.
It's up to me now and nobody else.

Afternoon all and welcome anymore newbies I may have missed :D

Feeling nice and cheery today as I had a weigh in this morning and have lost 2lbs :j Must try to not feel too smug about it, thats when I usually decide I'm doing well therefore deserve a treat of extra food :p
    Food today:

    Breakfast - Scrambled eggs
Lunch - Cheese and tomato sandwich
Dinner - A veggie, low fat ceasar salad
Snacks - 5 a day smooothie (strawberries, peach, banana, cherry, apple) been drinking it periodically throughout the day, just finished now :p

Determined to keep doing well as I have visitors from back home coming down next week and I'd love them to say they've noticed a difference :p Hope everyone is having a nice day.

    Morning all!

well done to all the losers this week:T

was a bit fed up last night as despite having a good week I've put on half a pound:mad: I'm putting it down to TOTM(dont have actual periods due to the depro but have other symptoms) so need to keep going till next week when hopefully a loss will show. I felt like I'd lost or at least STS so was very disappointed . All that effort for nothing.

anyway enough of me feeling sorry for myself, I'm going to keep going and not ruin it all by comfort eating.

Havent planned much yet today as I'm shopping later.

    B - 1 x toast 1x weetabix and banana

L - poached egg on toast

D - possibly curry with low fat sauce and quorn chicken pieces and veggies.

snacks - yoghurts and a ryvita fruit crunch(3 syns) plus grapes

hope you're all having a good week!

Don't lose hear taplady, I bet if you look back through your book you will see a 4 week cycle even if you don't have periods! I am sure you will have an extra good loss next week to make up for this one:j Stay strong :grouphug:

  • Hi
Just been for a walk/jog round the horrid dog toilet (field) opposite me in an effort to get more exercise. (I love the dogs just not their mess, wish the owners were more responsible.) I am cautious as the knees and ankles are very unreliable and cause great pain, also have trouble with breathing. I'm always afraid of damage so take things very steady, but even if I just walk that has to be better than sitting.
After a few rubbish days dinner was better last night. Made quorn pie with lots of onions, leak, celery and of course quorn. Only put pastry on top and give most of it to the teens. Had this with swede and carrot mash and a couple of roasties. Apple and blackberry crumble for pud, just had a small portion. Half the pie left for the teens so think I will make a curry to use up bits from the fridge for myself and OH tonight.

Off to work now, have a good day everyone.
