Well considering I had a good night drinkies last night and am hungover today I'm not doing too badly eating-wise. Haven't staggered down the caff for a fry up
.
So far had:
Breakfast: 2 potato waffles with eggs fried in frylite (330 cals)
11 am: tortilla spread with hummus (130 cals)
Plan for later:
Lunch: campbells mushroom soup (300)
dinner: fish pie and veg (450)
Looks reasonable so far, lets hope i don't muck it all up.2015 wins: Jan: Leeds Castle tickets; Feb: Kindle Fire, Years supply Ricola March: £50 Sports Direct voucher April: DSLR camera June: £500 Bingo July: £50 co-op voucher0 -

Afternoon everyone, eating today has so far gone to plan, I am having another green day. Yesterdays plan (as above) was good, ate everything on my list and nothing extra untill about 9pm when I somehow managed to have a large scotch (followed by 2 more) and at least 10 chocolates from the many boxes my daughter received from her students for her birthday:o (She has now whisked them upstairs so out of sight and out of mind for me:o)
Today I am making an effort to be extra good to make up for last night. My plan is:
B - bacon and eggs on toast
s - plums
L - last of the pasta bake take out of freezer yesterday
s - yogurt
D - southern style quorn fillets with McCain rustic chips - this is very good for me because I am making sausage and mash for my daughter at her request, and I love sausage and mash - not talking quorn here you understand:p. This dinner will be followed by one piece of birthday cake with ice cream. I will ask the birthday girl to take the rest upstairs or make sure it all gets eaten! How sad am I?:rotfl:
Have a good day every one

RS - if you are a fan of mash (I could eat it all day) but want a low cal version I've started using different veg to cut down on the amount of potato used. Swede is very low cal, as is butternut squash, so using one potato, a bit of swede and some butternut squash for your mash means it is farily guilt free. And it is so tasty I don't need to adulterate it with salt or butter. I much prefer it to normal mash now.2015 wins: Jan: Leeds Castle tickets; Feb: Kindle Fire, Years supply Ricola March: £50 Sports Direct voucher April: DSLR camera June: £500 Bingo July: £50 co-op voucher0

Good morning everyone and well done Shellbel - I look forward to the day that I will even have the courage to work out my BMI - no way am I going to do it yet! Yesterdays plan (as above) went ok with the exception of the single portion of cake and ice-cream which somehow transformed into 2 large portions:o however the rest of the day was very good!:j
Today I am switching to a red day in preparation for weigh in tomorrow morning.
B - fruit and yogurt, bacon and eggs
D - roast beef and a selection of steamed vegetables
S - tuna salad
any nibbles will be fruit
I was hoping for a loss this week but looking back on it I guess I may have to hope for a maintain! Oh well - one day I will have a loss again! I seem to have been on a plateau for ages and have no one to blame but myself - at least I am not gaining!:pWhen life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!0 -
good morning.
retiredlady, i seemed to have joined you on that plataux and ive lost 100lb less than you :rotfl: like you say though, at least its not a gain
well, after almost 2 weeks of feeling dreadful, i almost feel human again (not quite though, breathing still not great) i do now feel well enough to start taking control of my diet again, i have eaten just what i fancy as my motivation to cook properly has been rubbish.
i need to think and plan a bit for next week though as im going to be tired after work.
today will be:
boiled eggs and toast
cous cous with sweetcorn
roast chicken, veg and yorkies
i have still stuck to my giving up sweets, biscuits, cake and chocolate for lent     it was tough last week but i did it
well done to all the losers, hope youre all having a good weekend!
vix- prior planning prevents poor performance!
