Well done on the sts vixtress and welcome natzini.

Bit of a mixed day so far. Was tempted to weigh myself in Boots and pleased to find I've lost 2lb in 5 days. :j

Then going round the supermarket for dinner tonight thought mmm, might make jelly with those pretty new moulds I got. Then thought a little bit of icecream wouldn't go amiss.... between 3 of us it won't be that bad etc etc.

Guess who has icecream headache now? 3/4 of a litre I got through before deciding to pour hot water over the rest of it and bury the evidence/carton in the bottom of the bin. :o

Rest of the day is just going to be rubbish calorie-wise so shall take care to be sensible at the weekend. Really want to hang on to that 2lb loss!

Argh! Went out drinking last night and had a chicken pakora on the way home! And today has been pretty bad as well. I always get the munchies the day after I've been drinking. Oh well I'll just have to up the exercise to compensate!

Hi all! Been away for a week and all these posts have run away from me :p All caught up now and ready to get back into posting!
Welcome to all the new people :j

Pleased as I've had a bad week food wise but managed to lose 1lb from last week. That makes 1 stone 7lb to go! Also made a really positive decision about "what to do with the rest of my life" career wise so feeling really happy about that too :D Working part time in a smoothie bar at the moment while I have been deciding what to do, I get a free smoothie every day and I've been managing to sneak in 4 of my 5 a day into one :p
    Today has been -

    Breakfast - 3 eggs scrambled
Lunch - Hummous and salad bagel
    Dinner - Cheesey vegetable hotpot
Snack - A big smoothie with peach, strawberry, banana, apple juice ( was massive so i started drinking it at 11 and finished at about half 12!)

Wont be on for a few days as i'm away again for the weekend, but hope everyone has a good one! See you all on Monday :D

HI Guys :o I'm cheesed off.

I made the mistake of hopping on the scales this morning cos I was curious to see how it was going. SO, the answer was: not well  In the last 2 weeks I've only gone down 3lb :o I wanted it to be more. Lots more.

I've been thinking about it all day and as yet I haven't wanted to binge, but then, I have been at work. Will have to really try hard not to do it tonight. I don't think I'm gonna do it but that's often when I do

I know I'm never happy, and it's gonna slow down blah blah blah but if it comes off as slowly as 1/2 st in a month it will take FOREVER! Well, quite long actually. I've got 5 more st to go before I'm reasonably happy, so I guess that's only 10 months. Thought it might have all gone by next tuesday though so you can understand my dissappointment can't you?

Been asking myself where I'm going wrong. I need to up the exercise that's for sure. Don't think I'm eating too much (RS said I wasn't and she's clever bout stuff like that you know) Wish I hadn't got on the scales now cos if I'd have left it til the end of the month it might have looked better.

Anyway ho hum onward and upward. Ooooooooooo one more moan ~ I had a visit from The Toad last night and I told him exactly where to go but now I'm thinking what was the point? I could have invited him in and had a feast and had a nice time. I'm still fat

Oh well, life could be worse, as my old Mum used to say " Cheer up Frogga, you could have been a cat" :D

I've only just got over that

Been thinking some more about my dissappointment ( oh yes, this will go on for weeks ;) ) and the last 6 weeks hasn't actually been that hard. I've had yummies everyday, and a bar of Fry's Chocolate Cream every Friday night (see what I did there ;) ) and a small bag of peanuts every sunday while watching DOI. I've not deprived myself, I'm having 3 meals and 3 snacks, and I do feel ok about it. Overall in the last 6 weeks I've gone down from 19st to 17st 4lb. When you look at it like that I do sound like a real ungrateful moany old whatsit don't I?

You've just caught sight of the finishing line and are feeling impatient for it that's all frogga. ;)

But yes, it is demoralising when you expect to have lost loads and it's not quite the case. But your eating plan ultimately sounds the best for long-term keeping the weight off. I mean, if we all ate like that we'd not be on this board would we? :D And I'm well impressed at how long you've gone without a binge! If I manage a week I'm full of astonishment! It's actually got to the stage where I barely believe it's possible NOT to have the odd binge. Must get that naughty negative thought out of my head.

Hope you can get rested and de-stressed enough to get your head back in gear.
