Reporting in with a STS this week. I am not too disappointed, at least it wasn't a gain.:j I had been good all week but let myself down badly over the weekend.
I will try again this week, I only have my daughters birthday to cope with next weekend so once I get past the cake and ice cream I should be ok - well maybe a bottle of champagne but that will definately be it...........I think:o
Love

Vixtress - hope you soon feel better.
Despite my plan to eat healthily while out shopping I had a veggie pasty from Greggs:oit was very nice but I did decline a cream cake (DH had one)I also had a couple of biscuits with my coffee. Need a healthy tea I think but dont know what yet.

Going quite well today, B= fruit a muller light and a small bowl of muesli, L= small tom base soup, two slices bread and an orange. I've had 2 rich tea biccies and 2 cups of bovril. Dinner will be HM chicken curry using the leftover chicken from my slow cooked bird yesterday. I've got lots of nice veggies to bulk it out with too. It's up to me now and nobody else.0

Well done Kitty and thriftlady. :j
Pleased to report a 3 lb loss (over two weeks), so at least going in the right direction, but really my eating is still atrocious. Have been getting a bit more exercise though and the next few weeks are a bit saner than the last few so hopefully my eating will regulate itself.
Want to try a few low-cal versions of yummy recipes this week. First I want to try a low-fat moussaka. I just need to figure out how to cook aubergine slices without tons of oil - they soak up loads! Any tips ladies?
I won't post what I ate today, back on track tomorrow!2015 wins: Jan: Leeds Castle tickets; Feb: Kindle Fire, Years supply Ricola March: £50 Sports Direct voucher April: DSLR camera June: £500 Bingo July: £50 co-op voucher0 -
Hi
STS for me again was so fed up yesterday when I weighed myself I didn't post. Keep thinking what's the point.
Yesterday had cereal followed by toast and marmite, lunch was peanut butter on whole meal bread, had 2 kiwi in nat yog for snack then went to yoga after which I went out for an indian meal with friends for a birthday celebration. Anyways at the end of the meal a friend asked "have you lost weight?" I could've kissed her. Must be doing something right.
well done to Kitty and Thriftlady and JoJoB
sorry you're feeling down floyd
JFC You don't list any fruit or veg is than because they have no cals?

that's brilliant news procrastinator, must have been such a boost to you!
i had a bad evening last night - i was out to dinner, and had been planning on skipping the booze and desert but, after a bad day at work ended up tucking into both. oh well. going to to try a gentle session at the gym today.
today's list:
b - apple, orange and yoghurt w. a few cornflakes
l - 2 small w/m rolls w. 2 veggie sausages, mustard, a little mayo, cucumber
s - cookie, fruit, oatcakes if i go to the gym
t - not sure, possibly a prawn stir fry, or something from the freezer (see my grocery challenge figures in my sig, there's going to be a lot of store cupboard meals over the next few weeks!)
have a wonderful day everybody

Hello!
Do you mind if I join you??
I'm getting married in just over 6 months time and I need to lose at least a stone to be happy in my frock (that I haven't shopped for yet!) and the photos. Ideally, I'd love to lose 20lbs but that may be pushing it a bit - but I'll try.
I've just worked out that's it 30 weeks away including this week:eek: so 20 lbs could be do-able?
I started my "diet" yesterday and did well and am going back to SW tonight for motivation and a proper weigh in as my scales are a bit flaky at teh best of times.
I'm a veggie and so the SW green day diet seems to suit me and it also easy to incorporate good homecooked food not gimicky products.
Anyway, I'll report in with the initial weight (not looking forward to that bit!) and try to tell myself thatt this is the worst bit over with and the only way from here is downwards (weightwise!)
Thanks for listening!

Morning all!
welcome to rachel and congratulations on the wedding!
several of us follow SW in an OS way and there's also several veggies here too.
Am trying to do better but its hard with DH being at home too, but mustn't blame him really as he doesn't force the food down my throat!:D
plans for today
B - shreddies and WM toast and marmalade(more than usual as I'm off on a course and lunch will be late)
L - laughing cow lite and grapes in a sandwich with cherry tomatoes on the side. Yoghurt
D - meatless stew and dumplings(veggie ones) with mash.
snacks - bananas, yoghurts, snackajacks
have a good day all, back later xDo what you love :happyhear0 -
Morning folks :hello: here's hoping my journal arrives today
I've not done very well the last few days, 2 birthdays at the weekend didn't help:doh:and with all the illness/problems that are going on in the family at the moment I'm a bit cheesed off with everything/anything.
I want the journal to arrive as I've promised my self that I'll commit to this 90 days, after all what's 90 days in the scheme of thingsI know I need to start looking after myself properly again, I know I'll feel better if I do.............I haven't got much to lose really, I'll be happy with a stone and ecstatic with a stone and a half:D
I'm not listing today's food, it's fairly healthy but to much bread...........perhaps one of these days I'll sicken myself of it :rotfl:0 -
Hi all,
Had a good day yesterday so its cheered me up a bit, I think I was just feeling a bit of a failure as I had been having rough weeks rather than days and couldn't seem to get back into it.
But, yesterday I resisted Costco carrot cake and big bags of Walkers crisps in work and even came in well under target without wanting to eat more so I think I am over the wobble
B: Porridge with skimmed milk and blueberries
L: Indian chickpea soupVeggie haggis with mashed sweet potato, swede and red cabbage.
S: Small banana, actrimel drink and clementines
Still not been swimming but I haven't finished work before 6pm for a while and I have been starting at 7am so I am too tired to do very much at all0
