  • Hello.
Thank you everyone who mentioned me in their posts, your kind words mean a lot.
Yesterday, wasn't too bad foodwise as had already eaten all the bad stuff. Didn't get out so had salad and omelette for dinner. Today will be fridge use up and probably involve curry sauce. Have lots of spinach to use. Enjoyed my bagels toasted yesterday so have had these for bfast today. (Bought 2 packs on tues for 23p each so need to use them up.) DS had been nagging for bagels for days but when I buy them he then doesn't want them.
Have walked 10,000 steps since Monday this is rubbish should be at least 25K to meet my reduced target or 50,000 to meet the recommended number. I really need to exercise.

Hi folks :hello: Hope everyone is feeling good and ready for the weekend :D

Mine will not be good foodwise as it's OH and GD's birthdays  tomorrow. Cake and pizza tonight, then lunch out on Sunday
I've just ordered PMK's 90 day journal from Amazon, I've been listening to his cd regularly and I am finding it easier to recognise when I'm hungry but I'm struggling with the emotional eating. I did it with the journal a couple of years ago and it hepled then so I'll try it again...;)

I was good all day yesterday, good food choices, belly dancing  class at lunchtime 2hr latin class in the evening:dance: then demolished half a (small granary)loaf when I got in:doh:  Hopefully the journal might sort me out on this self-sabotage.

    Enjoy the weekend folks :A
  • I failed SO badly on Weds - demolished all shades of junk - well tortilla chips and digestive biscuits in fact :-(

I feel awful, I need to change my lifestyle. I have been looking for an exercise class to try - does anyone find exercise helps stick to a diet or does it just make you feel more hungry?

Best wishes to all and wll done everyone who is staying on plan!

    Hi all,

I had a lovely brunch of a toasted sausage and bacon buttie with brown sauce and now feel really sick.......lesson learnt ;)

Not sure what is on the menu tonight as OH is cooking but it will be something healthy and tasty so thats fine.
The weekend is going to be tough as its curry and UFC night on Saturday and birthday cake for OH then Sunday we are seeing friends we haven't seen in a long time so no doubt we will have a drink or two.

    See how it goes.

Have a good weekend all :)

Don't know if I am doing well or not today. Have resisted chocolate and bad things but still got through a fair amount of calories already.

    So far had:

Breakfast: small bowl of porridge (250)

mid-morning: bowl of salad with coleslaw and tuna sweetcorn mayo that was actually intended for lunch (300)

Lunch: tin of campbells condensed mushroom soup (330)

So I am at 1000 cals already! Doh, that's why we shouldn't eat 2 lunches I suppose ;) . Tonight we are entertaining friends so will have a few drinks, so calories-wise will not be a good day. But have made a lovely veggie shepherds pie for dinner which would have been quite low-cal if I hadn't opted for the crispy cheese topping. I only checked the calories of that after putting it on - an extra 500 cals on me pie!

Am pleased I haven't eaten loads of carp the last few days, but I'm really having trouble moderating my food intake generally. I don't do small portions!

little tip to curb cravings, it works for me..may work for you. I pop an airwaves menthol chewing gum in my mouth, It takes away the desire to eat something.

Its a similar theory to brushing your teeth.
