Hi everyone, hope you're all having a good day. Not a bad day yesterday, I roasted some slices of pork belly until the fat had all but disappeared. The crackling was wonderful! Had it with mash and cabbage. Today has been okay too: 2 slices of toast for breakfast, big salad with sliced left over cold sausage to liven it up and a cuppa soup. I run the office tea club and have just had to replenish the biscuit tin. I swear I can hear the ginger-nuts calling me!
It's up to me now and nobody else.

    Hello,,
I picked up a quick easy recipe for HM treats similiar to Ferrero Rocher,, If your following the SW plan there 1 syn each.

    5 original ryvitas

    4 tbs nutella

    2 tbs golden syrup

Just crumble up the ryvitas in a bowl,, add the rest,, get your hands stuck into the mixtre and make small balls! i put them in petit four cases,, and they are in my fridge.

Pop a strawberry in your mouth with one,, yummy!

If anyone has any alternative things i could use for a similiar result?

Also,, i made a fish pie today but used a low cal tomato soup which i added onion, garlic, peppers to as the sauce.

looking forward to my dinner tonight :-)

Oh dear! Seems I shouldn't have been so smug about being good, put on a pound this week :o Not a huge disaster since it's the first gain since starting this, and I'm still on track for my target in June. Chalking it up to experience and moving on!

Spugz - I've got her voice turned off now, it's the "go go" that really got me, doesn't she sound so sarcastic? It's even worse when my boyfriend is in and decides to mimick her! I second the Grrr!! :p

    Food for today:

Breakfast - 2 slices wholemeal toast
Lunch - Cheese, tomato and onion sandwich
Dinner - Vegetable Pie (The pie part is actually baked couscous so it's nice and healthy :D)
Snacks - 2 bananas and an apple.

    Hi all,

BAD stress today  usual scenario, ending up doing other peoples work while the person who should be doing it swans around drinking tea and gossiping. Thats what happens when you are reliable and approachable, maybe I will become a miserable nouty git in my next life and do no work but still get paid the same as the lazy !!!!!!s.

    Rant over

B: Porridge with water and skimmed milk and an apple

L: Lentil soup and a Yakult

    D: Jackets spuds and tuna

S: Peanut M&M's and a brownie :o but I counted them so its OK ;)

Well done to all the losers, keep it up :D

    Hi there Blue.

If you are looking for a calorie website, I have found that The Daily plate is very good. It is free and because other people upload things there will be a wide variety of options for portion sizes. For example, if you look for a banana, you can choose a size in inches, a weight in grams, a volume in cups or tablespoons of puree!

It took me about a week to get used to all the little tricks like creating your own meals to store. This is really useful as you can add up a home-made recipe for 4 then add 1/4 of that to your daily intake and it stores the meal in your own profile so if there are things you eat regularly its really easy to add them to your library.

You can also add supermarket foods to the database as long as you have the nutritional info.

See how you get on with it http://www.thedailyplate.com/ I love the fact it also calculates salt, fibre, protein, fat and carbs so you can see if you are getting enough fibre or eating too much fat.

Good luck however you choose to do it :)

Had a bit of a wobble last night, I was serving up Roast chicken to my family and I sneaked a bit of chicken, not too bad, but then I had a banana and then later a yoghurt. I still should lose weight as in total that makes my calorie intake about 1500 instead of 1000 + fruit and milk allowance....but I am cross that I gave in.

Anyway...today is another day and this is the menu I have planned

    Porridge - 247 cals
    Fanta Zero - 0

    Chicken sandwich - 245 cals
    2 ryvita - 140 cals
    lite phili - 46 cals

cauliflower cheese - 365 cals (low cal recipe)
    yoghurt -100 cals

    1143 cals for todays menu

I hope you are all managing well
Week one (4th March) - 4 pounds lost
    Target - under 9 stone by July 17th 2009
