Just a VERY quick one as I'm gonna be late for work :o Just wanted to say I've managed to get to the end of week 4 without bingeing :j Huge progress for a little frog you know ;)

Thought about weighing on Monday but not sure if I dare. It will be TOTM and so wont be too good and I feel as light as a feather in my head and knowing that the scales will tell a truth that I don't necessarily want to hear is putting me off. I'll see.

    Have a good day guys x :D

  • Well done Frogga, I used to binge and starve but managed to stop some years ago so I know how hard it is.Today I've had meusli with s/skim milk, lunch will be tuna salad and dinner is yet to be decided. BF's 2 (6 & 8) daughters will be staying with us over the weekend so I'll be running around like a mad thing and hopefully keeping to the straight and narrow. Good luck everyone.
It's up to me now and nobody else.

    Morning ladies:hello:

Not too bad yesterday, stuck to plan but did allow myself 1 slice granary bread and a G&T when I got in from dancing.:D I reckon it's better to allow myself 1slice rather than depriving myself then eating half a loaf:doh:

Today I will have to take as it comes as I have a migraine lurking. _pale_ For some reason I always get an attack of the munchies afterwards, not sure if it’s related to the meds I take for it:confused:

    So the plan is:-

B: porridge with sultanas and cranberries
    S: yoghurt and a banana
L: hummus and beetroot sandwich, fruit
D: Quorn sausage, mash and cabbage

I was planning a swim at lunchtime but I’ll see how I feel in a bit.

Tappy - can you pass some of that self control over my way please;)
Frogga - well done!! I'd leave the WI if I were you and concentrate on how my clothes felt. :j

    Good Morning All! (just!!)

Yesterday wasn't great but I think I should have still lost some. I'm going to weigh in this eve. I've ordered my glasses and they are £20 less than budget so I'm going to treat myself to 'my fitness coach' for the Wii. It's suppossed to be more like a workout video. I keep telling myself I can run for free but I never do because at the end of the day .... I hate it! I also got my annual pay rise so this is my celebration - very healthy celebration!

    So today's food is:

    B - Yog (1.5)
    L - Pitta and ham salad (2.5)
D - HM Quorn chilli (1.5) with loads of extra hot sauce!
    S - Apple (0.5)

I'm not sure about the rest as it'll either be wine or a yog depending on if my mate comes over.

I'm going to batch cook some chilli and some morag's version of twinks hobnobs at the weekend.

Well done to all of you especially 4Moneysaver vixtress mOZzy wyrdsister & taplady!:T :T :T

  • quick catch up as we're off out shortly. Yesterday was good, had fruit and yog for bfast and wholemeal roll and philly light for lunch + 2 apples. Mush omelette with spinach for tea. Eve snacks -1 strawb and 1 hazlenut yog.
Today boiled egg for bfast, apple and nana snacks, lunch cheese on toast, dinner will be bad, friend is doing pizza so I am making some salad to take and share. Home made coleslaw - I use half mayo, half natural yog in the dressing. Bulgar wheat salad, with oinions, parsley and tomatoes. Have a party to go to tomorrow night.
    Have a great weekend everyone.

  • Evening everyone, well done gratefulforhelp, vixtress on the loss and anyone else who has managed to resist bingeing and snacking!

Rockie4 - I feel for you as I'm in the middle of a migraine spell. Started at about 1 and was feeling really sick at about 4, went to bed for a while and though it's eased a bit I can still feel it on the left side, hiding behind my eye, waiting to crawl back again :p

spugzbunny - I really like My Fitness Coach! Warning though, the initial fitness test is hard (it was for me anyway) 2 minutes of starjumps  And get a tape measure ready :p Sometimes the instructor sounds a bit sarcastic and repetetive, but she can be switched off :p

    Food today has been/will be:
Breakfast - Muesli with semi skimmed milk
Snack - smoothie with banana, strawberries, mango and soya milk.
Lunch - Bagel with vegetarian sausage
Dinner - Tiny piece of lentil lasagne, enough to keep me going as I don't want to feel ill again. Have a big smoothie with Acerola berries and wheatgrass in the fridge so will drink all of that and hope it keeps me full and alert!

Must stay good over the weekend now ;)
