Well pancake day was always going to be a bad one! But I enjoyed it so I'm not caring too much! Although had a huge cupcake this morning because they were giving them away free at my work to celebrate the name change.
Still determined to be good!0 -
Another pound off for me since Friday
Leiela what protein powders/shakes do you use? I started using them about 3 months ago as I am post-bypass and have to aim for 80g of protein a day but can't physically eat enough food to acheive that. I have to use ones that are low carb/sugar. I started on the Met-RX ready to drink cartons but they were sooo expensive even when bought in bulk and so moved to maximuscle promax but don't know if it's any good!Weight loss to date - 8st 13lbs :j0 -

Did any of you watch Supersize vs Superskinny last night? I was horrified by the fat inside that woman's tummy which they showed you when she was having her weight loss surgery. It really made me think that I NEED to get this weight off. I have considered WLS but don't want to do it so it has made me a bit more determined.
I accidently seem to have eaten steak and chips plus 1 large and 1 small glasses of red for lunch -oops -but no pudding and I didn't clear my plate, no I left the tomato:rotfl:
It's my wedding anniversary and me and the old man went out for lunch, but in my defence I will say that we climbed up Worcester Beacon (one of the Malvern Hills) before lunch. That must have burnt a good few cals.
Tea this evening is more beef (I'm having a protein day OK), minced this time with taters and veg- mince and tatties I suppose you Scots would call it;)

Hi to all the newbies
I'm still technically newish here and love it! So helpful and supportive.
4Moneysaver - It was when I met my lovely fella that I began putting on weight!
Mozzy - I'm also a wii fit user! I recommend the Super Hula Hoop, really gets your tummy moving! My favourite is Free-Step, exercising while watching TV, always good! Also with the portion sizes, I always put my food on a smaller plate than my boyfriends, to me it makes it seem like I'm eating more.
The only downside to the Wii fit game for me is that you can't do a whole "workout" The muscle exercises are great but you have to go back and forth across the menu's to select them. I got another game "My Fitness Coach" which is more like an interactive fitness DVD, and though it doesn't use the balance board I do get to use it as a very expensive step-bench  I also don't do the daily body test but use it weekly as a weigh in, I find that checking my weight every day is really not good for motivation!
Anyway, enough of the advertising, anyone would think I work for Nintendo! And before I lose any will to move I'm going for a nice long walk then back to use the wii fit
Will post meals later.

thriftlady - Happy anniversary
How many years?
- the Malvern hills - lovely view. We used to go up British Camp - is that the one with the quarry bit below it too??
And what's the one with the little cottage type building Whych or something???
Got relatives in Malvern - when we were young, we used to stay in their house while they went on holiday - it was great
Haven't been up the Malvern hill for a good ten years now though
Used to love driving up there and coming off the M5 and seeing the Malvern hills in the distance.
And for a few years Worcester town was only visited by me for the pubs. First time I went there shopping with my sister I directed her round to the nice shops solely by the fact there were pubs nearby and we'd walked past closed shops on the way between the slug, todds, and several others where the name escapes me nowworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -

Hello to Gratefulforhelp,Mozzy and 4moneysaver :-)
Stayed on plan yesterday, I was greedy for a yoghurt after dinner last night when husband had done, but I did not need the caloiries, nor was it sugar free or vegan.
I had carrot sticks instead. Worked like a charm so I think carrots may be my new best friend.
I got to this size by eating out of habit or "one piece just to try it "
Plan today is:
cereal with soya milk
carrot sticks
hm veggie and bean soup
soya milk and apple
tofy stir fry wiht brown rice and beansprouts
Best wishes to all.0 -
