Morning all,
Not too bad yesterday, still eating portions that are too large but at least the crap has gone. Still got a bit of a dark cloud as well but I think its because there is so much stuff to do both in work and at home that I am a bit snowed under.
B: Porridge with skimmed milk and water
L: Indian veg soup, apple and bananaPrawn laksa with raw carrot and courgette salad and peanut dressing
S: Probably nothing as I will be busy today
Have a good day all0 -
Thanks for the recipe thrift lady :-)
Yesterday went on plan - until I scoffed the remainder of the peanuts after eating the pilaff :-(
Pure greed - no other excuse. I wish I could give up greed for lent, but will stick with abstaining from animal products, nuts and sugar instead.
Best wishes to all.0 -
morning :hello:
i hope it's ok for me to join you too!
i've read back a bit and wow - there have been quite some losses!!!!!!! :T
maybe losing in numbers DOES help
so i understand you post the food you'd like to eat / have eaten / shouldn't haven eaten ? - is there a weekly weigh in or does everyone do his/her own thing?!
well, someone mentioned (way back) about setting a target or not - i think i will go with my wii fit and [STRIKE]try[/STRIKE] do 1.2kg in 2 weeks (sorry but i don't do stones and lbs) for now ...
i know exactly what i am doing wrong but somehow i can't escape
portions too big, too many sweets, not enough exercise, snacking
BUT i CAN do this!!!!
my plan is re too big portions: add more veg/salad (looks as big!)
too many sweets: set aside a limit each day (actually physically so i see when it's gone!)
exercise: either go for a walk or do some time on the wii fit (30min?)
snacking: put 'good' snacks in eyesight so i go for them first (i do love carrots) - and drink more water/juice!
well, that's the plan anyways
oh, and in total (ideally) i'd like to loose around 30kg!
so, where do i start?!
i guess my planned food for today
morning: coffee
bf: cereals
lunch: sandwich
afternoon: fruit/veg
dinner: lasagne
wish me luck!0 -
morning all!
welcome back Pixie!:hello:
weigh in tonight for me, am hoping for a STS - fingers crossed as its not been the best of weeks. I went to the docs yesterday re my IBS and she recomended a low reside diet:eek: this means virtually no fruit or veg or any wholegrains, This will be virtually impossible for me as these are what I live on. Evenings are my worst time for an IBS flare up so she said to try it for just the evening meal and to have no veg with my meal - I said I dont eat meat so what can I have? luckily I do eat fish so it looks like fish and lettuce:rolleyes: I'm going to do some research on the net and look for some inspiration but I dont think I'll be able to do it.
On top of that I've had another abnormal smear result, got to wait 6 months for another test so am rather stressed and worried about that .
havent a clue what I'm eating yet today but so far have had a small slice WM toast and some shreddies (both of which aren't allowed on the low residue diet:rolleyes:)
have a great day all xDo what you love :happyhear0 -

Morning All!
Hi Mozzy - welcome! I also have a wii fit and I'm trying to keep the graph on the downward with my yummy HM healthy eating!
Well, sorted out my monthly budget today and as i had to budget for new glasses (well second hand vintage!!) and a car battery - I'm a bit poorer than expected. I'll be living off the cupboard food for a while to help!
Today's food is ...
B - Muller Stars (purchased with a voucher for a free pack!)
L - Usual Pitta and Ham Salad (Aldi's!)
S - Apple
D - Going to make a creole chicken from a jar suace I found in Aldi. Not exactly HM but it was freekin cheap!
I had a prawn salad in the end yesterday which was absolutely lovely! I got given a couple of 'out of date' olive oil bottles a few weeks back. It's amazing on salad as it is very posh £30 a bottle stuff!House saving Targets:
£17,700 / £20,0000 -
