  • Afternoon all, also had a rubbish weekend :o
Not so much rubbish as eating really badly (although I did have a twix yesterday and hated myself all day for it) but I had lots of exercise planned and did none!
Well done on the loss Rockie!

    Today has been/Will be:

Breakfast - 2 slices home made wholemeal toast with quorn deli slices
Lunch - Greek salad flatbread with yogurt and feta
Dinner - HM carrot and orange soup (lots of it as soup never fills me up!)
Snacks - Dried apricots and dates and a banana inbetween meals

Determined to stay on track the rest of this week, now I better leave before I convince myself I can exercise "later" which gets pushed back all day until 10pm :p

Hope everyone else is having a good day! Bye for now!

    Hi everyone

Have decided I am going to join in this thread. My problem is I don't eat enough! Seriously my calorie intake is very small, fortunately I'm not putting weight on but unfortunately I am not loosing anything either. I went on one of those sites where you put in what you eat during the day and on average I eat about 600 calories. Not good at all and probably explains why I can't be @rsed to get out of bed in the morning, and have mood swings as well. So my LBM came this morning. I haven't done as well as I'd expected but every small step is a step in the right direction. Half my problem is I just don't fancy food.

So far today I have consumed
Breakfast (not something I ever ate) double serving (100g) of Tesco muesli & semi skimmed milk
Lunch - ham roll, lemon curd roll and packet salt & vinegar crisps...oh and 6 tesco value mini choc swiss roll things (hangs head in shame)
Tea is going to be 2 pork & apple sausages and loads of salad. Followed by a jelly and some grapes and an apple.

I currently weigh 14st 4lb and am only 5ft 2. With a bra size of 34HH - wud love to get down to 34DD and 10st.

    bye for now

Buy your bananas in bunches of 5 on Sunday. Then arrange them in order of ripeness and write a day of the week on each banana in felt pen, Monday on the ripest, Friday on the greenest to save time making those decisions on a hectic weekday morning

    evening all!

    well done rockie!:T

    RS - have PMd you.

yesterday was a bit of a disaster( scones, jam and cream:doh: :D ) and today could have been better.

B - optivita, banana and raisins

L - salmon fillet with sweet chilli and soy sauce, salad and 1 slice WM b & B

    S - mullerlight

D - quorn bolognaise, salad sprinklig of cheese

The above is not bad but its the extras that ruin it - 1 leftover scone, butter and jam and 1 bag maltesers(so far)
Its been a long weekend at work but I've 2 days of now - sort of - am doing the first part of a course on massage tomorrow.

    take care all x

    Morning folks:hello:

Stuck to plan yesterday apart form the 2 slices of still warm granary bread that jumped into my mouth, oops!

Just been for a swim :D and am now having porridge with raisins and cranberries
Lunch is a granary bread hummus and beetroot sandwich and tea is erm...pancakes :o
Just a savoury one for me!

    Back later folks!:A
  • Well I stuck to my plan too up until about 7.30 pm when I had a terrible craving for something chocolatey -pmt:rolleyes: so I made a batch of breadcrumb cookies which have cocoa in them-very thrifty recipe but not ideal for losing weight. Anyway I had about 8  and that cured the craving:rolleyes: .

Really must do better today. Here's the plan.

Breakfast -Slice of toast, butter and marmalade

    mid-morning-fruit

Lunch- leftover couscous and veg stew with a small helping of leftover couscous. Fruit

Supper - Baked potatoes with tuna and sweetcorn or beans, salad
    Pancake
  • RS - best wishes to your daughter by the way , I hope her GP has been able to help and reassure her.

Thriftlady - may I ask for the breadcrumb cookie recipe please? I am still baking for my husband so it would be very welome if non-vegan :-)

Feeling very postive about sucess now - I would love to be healthy BMI again, it is only the last two years that I have let myself go.

Not missing the dairy as I didn't really eat a lot of full fat cheese, wholemeal bread seems to be working as a replacement of the buns and biscuits I used to eat.

    Plan for today is:
    toast
    soya milk and apple
hummous and bread with carrot sticks
    soya milk
    peanut and brown rice pilaff

    Best wishes to all

    Morning.
Was very  and grumpy yesterday, but anyway...

hugs to everyone that needs them.

Managed to STS - very surprising actually - probably only due to lack of money before payday that caused a reduction in the food :o

However the weekend experiment of eggless chocolate buns (might have been posted by thriftlady as it was posted as an adapted wartime recipe - thanks ;)) worked well - and the butter icing I added as they weren't very sweet :o I ate most of them :o Will experiment making them mocha flavour, or ginger flavour next time :o

So onwards - still 4lbs to go to get back to goal.

    Food today:
b: oats soaked in water, syrup
l: hm butternutter squash soup and a roll
    d: beef borginion from freezer

snacks... I just wish I had some :o
