Had my final end of bulk measurements and wiegh in, i've offically gained a whole !!!!!!!g stone since christmas.. good side is most of it appears to be muscle downside is a feel HUGE and none of my pants fit. Took Photo's almost fell off my seat my thighs are huge, im a typical pear any exess weight i gain always sits on my legs... sigh.

I offically start my diet/cut on monday as i havn't had my new workout shedual/diet sent to me yet but i figure i'd get a head start.

Good new's is my trainer is letting me keep carbs this time... whooohooo... i do awful on low carb diets, she's planing some crazy carb cycle but i can cope with that, before christmas she had me on meals of protien shake/broccolli and peanut butter. Seriously that is NOT a meal, and after a couple of months i wanted to hang myself rather than eat it.. ugh.

Anyway i'm all hyped so had to share... my new muscle is like a really cool prezzy hiding beneith all my fat, i can't wait to un-wrap it and see how it looks. :T :T

. ((hugs)) to taplady and anyone else ho needs it. the new diet sounds a challenge, not sure how i'd manage that one.

dont think I will manage it somehow, have decided just to make a few small changes and see how it goes.

Oooh it's yum and seriously easy - will toddle off to find out where on here I posted it ;)

But it has breadcrumb and cheese topping, so not sure if that fits with your restrictions? but it's only one slice of bread? to serve 2 people :o

  • Hello everyone - and welcome back Pixie and Hi to Mozzy!
((Taplady)) and anayone else who needs one.

Spugzbunny - I am intrigued - where do you get vintage glasses?

Yesterday I managed to keep on the plan until I made pancakes after tea - I don't even really like them but managed to troff down two with some ice cream:o

Anyway today is the first day of Lent and I am giving up bread and cakes, which will be so hard for me because they are the foods which I love more than any others.

Today I just had some fruit and 2 snack a jacks for breakfast and as it's a no meat day for me (Ash Wednesday) and I don't like fish really, I am unsure what I am going to make for the other two meals. DD likes tuna pasta bake so I might do that, but I am trying to limit my pasta too because I always eat huge portions of it - In one of my Weight Watchers books it said a large portion of pasta was 3 points. I have those WW scales where it tells you how many points are in what you have weighed and I weighed what I consider to be a medium portion and it was 10 points:eek: - not that I am doing points but you know what I mean...... Might just have a jacket potato tonight.

Did any of you watch Supersize vs Superskinny last night? I was horrified by the fat inside that woman's tummy which they showed you when she was having her weight loss surgery. It really made me think that I NEED to get this weight off. I have considered WLS but don't want to do it so it has made me a bit more determined.

Anyway hope you are all having a good day - look forward to reading the leek and butterbean bake recipe!

RS - I was shocked by what constitutes a pasta portion too. Nearly flipped when I started calorie counting and weighed out my portion for dinner - it was about a quarter of what I would normally have. My pasta dinners have probably been about 1000 calories.

    So far today I've had:

    Breakfast: Melon and grapes (50)

Snack: juice and chocolate biscuit at playgroup ( 100), lentil cup-a-soup (100)

For lunch will have nut cutlets which are lurking at the back of the freezer, with big pile of veg. (500)

For dinner hm chilli and sweet potato wedges (600)

Hello RS! - the vintage specs are from an ebay shop called Dead Men's Spex. You buy the frames and they fit your prescription. It works out a lot cheaper and they look very cool!

These are the ones I want:

    Hiya folks :hello:
Did a long post this morning then lost it
Not a good day yesterday, I really MUST get this piggerey under control:rolleyes:

    Today:
B: Porridge, soya milk, cranberries and sultanas
    S: yoghurt and banana
L: salad with leftover potatoes and hummus, fruit
D: Falafel with summat - not sure what yet!

Hello to the newcomers and returners :hello:

Newlywed - that butterbean bake sounds nice :D

RS - one of the main reasons for SW over WW is the portion sizes I like *blushes*

Tappy - I couldn't 'do' low residue, I'd starve :rotfl:
  • Hello all, can I join in too please? After meeting my lovely fella 10 months ago, I've gained at least a stone! I haven't weighed myself this morning (I'm at work at the moment) but will update my siggy tomorrow, it's around 13 stone I think. I know that from a previous successful weight loss attempt with Weight Watchers that writing down my food is a real help. Other than that I know that there are tons of supportive people here. Jan
It's up to me now and nobody else.
  • and me too please? wedding in june want to lose 2 stone.
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x
