good luck for your weigh in Marion - my enthusiasm is definitely missing too, my meals are fine but I just cant seem to stop picking inbetween:rolleyes:
Well done ShelBell on your BMI :TDo what you love :happyhear0 -
Hello everyone - good luck with the mealplanning floyd and good luck for the WI and renewed enthusiasm tomorrow Marion.
:T on the BMI Shell!
I have had a good first day of March food wise - (children wise I have nearly been carried off to the funny farm they have driven me so nuts:mad: )
Breakfast - woke up late so waited for lunch
Lunch - home made french onion soup with 2 small toasts with 1oz gruyere grated on, muller yoghurt (not light:o )
Dinner - hm shepherds pie (but without the potato topping - I put a slice of bread spread with mustard and flora on the top instead and it's yummy), peas, baked apple and custard made with Splenda.
Snacks - bag of Shapers crisps, apple, 2 oatcakes, 8 pecan halves
It wasn't perfect as I probably had much too big a portion at dinner, but its a start and a day without eating loads of rubbish and sweets so that's good!
The french onion soup was the nicest soup I have ever had! I saw Simon Rimmer making it on Something for the Weekend this morning and it looked yummy and I had most of the ingredients in, including a tiny piece of gruyere so I thought I'd have a go. I just sweated off 2 big onions in some Flora for about 40 minutes and then added a tbs of flour and cooked it out, then I added about 2 pints of water and 3 oxos, a tsp of splenda, a tsp of balsamic vinegar and a squirt of tomato puree and cooked it for about another 20 minutes - It made enough for today's lunch and tomorrows too!
DD2 got 2 dwarf hamsters yesterday and she has driven me mad all day with them - I think every kid from about a mile around has been in the house today to see them - at one point a load of them were roller-blading round the hall and front room making skid marks on the laminate, and then another lot of them went in the shed and put the tent up on the back lawn and got out all kinds of other toys and stuff and made a den in it with my lovely silk scatter cushions out of the lounge  and then went home and left it all out  - it took me half an hour to put it all away! I was so angry with them all!
Anyway hope you all had a lovely Sunday and lets hope we all keep motivated through the week!Jane

Morning All,
Hope your part of the world is as sunny as Ipswich this morning
Had a crap weekend as I was just low and fed up.
I went to Mr T as I had to get a few bits and pieces and I thought as it was the last day of Feb and I had been SO good I deserved a treat. So I chose a pkt of Cashew nuts, Yummy :j and although it was quite a big pkt it wasn't the biggest so I thought it would be ok. I checked the lable and it said 1/8 of the pkt was 150 cals. I just knew that I would eat the whole pkt, which would have then been 1240 c on top of my other foodSo I put them back on the shelf
Tadpole 1 chose a pkt of Bombay Mix which is a real favourite of mine. I REALLY REALLY wanted some, but I knew if I started on the BM it would be game over. So I didn't have any. I nearly did, but I didn't.
I wd on Sunday morning. On 1st Feb I was very nearly 19st. On 1st March I was 17st 7lb. Quite pleased with that, ish. Just really wish it had been more, and getting on the scales is so upsetting as it just confirms how much you still have to loose. I know, I'm never happy. I just feel SO gutted that I ever let it get that bad in the first place.
Anyway onwards and upwards I guess. NOT gonna get on the scales now til the end on March , when hopefully it will be 16 somethingOh joy

Morning all,
Well so far I am full of optimism, probably helped along by the really bad acid reflux I have this morning that is really putting me off eating anything!
B: Porridge made with water and skimmed milk
L: Lentil soupChicken chasseur with lots of veggies and a little brown rice
S: Probably just fruit and a yoghurt, back to basics now to get everything back in balance as my stomach has been really bad during my week of indulgence
Have a great week all0 -

I've really been slacking recently. Not being doing my measurements, having extra treats, eating choc spread straight from the jar! That last one is shameful i know!
It's about time I got my act together though. I'm vowing to be more organised and stick to a proper routine more. I'm going to start meal planning again which should hopeful be a big help.
Although on a more positive note I have started running again so I think that's helping with my over indulgence!0
