Hi all,
I had a pretty good weekend, lots of running around and far less in the way of boozy calories than usual. I find that I'm much more aware of what I'm eating now and reading other proples meal plans is a real inspiration.
Today's food was:
B boiled eggs
L M&S sandwiches supplied by work for a meeting I was in
D 2 Sausages with sugar snap peas, a few (and I really mean just a few) chips and a tomato and shallot sauce that I made to give it all some punch.
I like the idea of a monthly weigh in rather than weekly so will wait a few weeks before hopping on the scales again. It's up to me now and nobody else.0 -
Hello everyone -
Well done Frogga - you are doing fantastically!
Paul - welcome back!
Supgz - I make my hobnobs with the new Splenda brown sugar and I find that they rise just like the original sort - I wasn't a fan of the yellow box Splenda hobnobs. In the french onion soup I just used a tsp or so of flora, but next time I am going to use olive oil as its better for you.
I have had a weird day - I had my sultana bran first thing but then got a call from my Goddaughter who was in a right state because she is in the middle of a break up with her long term partner so I had to go over to see her (about 15 miles). Anyway long story short, she isn't coping well and I ended up staying most of the day and then bringing her little girl home with me to sleep for tonight. Upshot was I didn't have anything to eat or drink from 9am until we got home at 4.30. I had a piece of toast and cube of cheese with a cup of tea as soon as I got in and then my dinner of sliced roast pork with pasta n sauce, followed by a mullerlight and cereal bar at about 7ish. That was supposed to be it for today but DD2 just gave me a bag of Comic relief crisps and I ate them:o All in all not a bad day really, just not much fruit and veg. I was going to have my leftover french onion soup today so will look forward to that tomorrow!
Marion- hope it went okay at Slimming World!
Floyd - if you are eating out in town have you been to Gourmet Burger Kitchen in Liverpool one? It's lovely and healthy too of you want it to be! There is a 2 for 1 voucher on the restaurants board here too!

I always get in such a mess but have my greed googles on so don't really care who is watching me. I have been known to lick my forearms so as not to waste any of the hoummus dribbling down

Morning All!
Well I did all my exercise last night but a dollop of mayo and a big wedge of bread slipped in to my dinner! A bit annoyed really as I'm worried i'll gain this week. I'm going to go for a run when I get in tonight. I desperately want to lose 5lbs before 20th March which I know is do-able... I just need to concentrate!
Plan today is:
B - WW yog
L - Pitta with ham salad
D - Salmon fillet I found lurking in the freezer. I'll probably make it into a sort of casserole dish with leeks and green veg.
S - milk, pink lady apple, sf jellyHouse saving Targets:

Your menu looks so nice today taplady, I think I will copy it tomorrow:D! I had another disappointing weigh in and put on another 1/2 pound. I am so cross with myself. I am now coming off the EE plan and going back to the good old red and green days that I lost weight on. I think the problem with EE for me is that I need to feel that I am in control of my eating and since EE allowed foods from both red and green I just did not feel in control and as a consequence overate and basically didn't stick to plan. I started day one again yesterday on green and did fine, I am doing green until Friday when I will go red for the weekend. Fingers and toes crossed for me this week everyone, I am feeling a little down because the gains I have had since Christmas has put me back to the weight I was over 6 months ago. That is £108 in slimming world fees which I have basically thrown out the window:eek:
I now have a steely glint in my eye and will succeed! When life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!0 -
Someone just commented on my weight gain ... 'have you gained weight?' Fed up - - really fed up.

spugzbunny - (((hugs))) what an insensitive person, nobody wants to hear that do they! just dont let them push you into comfort eating - show them you can do it!
Marion - good luck on the green days, the thought of wasting money should spur you on!;) it always works with me when I get close to being over my 3lb limit at SW and possibly having to pay again!:D
Hope you enjoy my menu tomorrow:D ( the roasted veg which I added to the cous cous were some frozen ones from Sainsburys and are delicious)
paul (((hugs))) to you too x
off to work now with my big bag of food:D
take care xDo what you love :happyhear0
