Good afternoon my lurverlies :) How is everyone??

Things are looking potentially positive - but until I get full blown confirmation of my news - I can't tempt fate - I just can't... :o... some would say it's the pessimist in me - I would say its the realist ;)

And as you may notice with my luck on job seekers - if there's an issue or problem to be had - I'm going to have it!! (Nats - remember the car that would still be running even without the keys in it!).

Going to call jobseekers this afternoon - waiting for todays post first - gotta give them a chance

    .
    .
    .
spookily dookily post just dropped through the door and zilch.. going to call after 2pm - always find I get through better when its not lunch time.

Tonights dinner is in the slow cooker, got a few bits and bobs to do.

    1. Finish pulling moss out of lawn
    2. Take car to get checked
    3. Clean bathroom
    4. Hang out washing
    5. Go for my daily walk... its working I'm sure of it ;)

Be back later my DFW friends!!!

Aww Emms sorry there is no news yet - I know how frustrating that can be! Hope you get some good news soon and that the JSA people get their act in order it is disgraceful what is happening to you with them!

I am still awaiting expenses from them - that is bad enough TBH! I am probably up to about £100 (at least) by now!

Oh yes indeed!! :rotfl:I too suffer from that "if its gonna happen its gonna happend to me feeling!" Just no specifics to mention at the mo. Oh, except if I travel any long distance on a Friday, it will take 5 hours... no more, no less (thinks ahead to next weeks drive to Exeter.. Hmm!)

    Happy happy thursday everybody!!!

Thanks SavingH, Nats, Retro and Laura for your messages - been a hectic weekend and a busy last few days....

Quick update as I have a HUUUUGGGEEE list of things to do today as the tempting fate item has finally been confirmed and all this time on my hands to do things is finally about to disappear because yes you guessed it - I have a job!!!!!!!!! WOOOHOOOO!!!!

    :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j

It's a year's maternity contract at a very good company who, despite the recession, have grown in the last year. Its paying the equivalent of my old salary plus an extra pound an hour, so that's all good :D Its more going back to my varied admin roots as opposed to marketing route I was off down - but to be honest it is what I am good at (without blowing my own trumpet here :o).

As above I have a massive list of things to do - at the moment its in my head - so I need to actually write the list of things to do!!:rotfl:

Once I have crossed a few things off that list and I am officially on my lunch break (gotta get use to this lark again ;)) I will be back to visit other peoples diaries and to update you all a bit better with my last few days which have all been pretty good!! :)
