    Thanks Laura and SavingH :)

Today was good thank you - bit of a first day do all the usual introductory stuff - but nice people and chilled out and it finishes a bit earlier than my old job - and earlier than the agency told me () but I don't mind in the slightest - infact I got home by 5.30 and went for my half hour walk!!

There's a nice atmosphere there and I feel it's a grown up company... they don't mind if you leave early if you've done your work or make up the time - i think a company gets more out of people with that type of attitude - something I didn't have at my last job...

So all in all looking positive on the job front so far..

As for money - not much to report but I've decided that I'm not going to wait to get paid to get things ready - these next 4 weeks gives me time to get sorted in advance of being paid and get to grips with spreadsheets... I think if I can see how and when I'll be making dents in my debt, it will encourage me to keep more on top of it all. I will then feel less of a fraud for using this website and calling myself a DFW!!:o :p;)

Nats if you're reading and get a chance can I nose at your spreadsheet please? (pretty please)

Infact I may go do some maths now (and I'm rubbish at maths so wish me luck!!)

    xx

Hi Emms glad your first day went well. Do you have online banking? I bank with barclays and can download my transactions into excel which means it is easier to forecast my spends... I also use the budget planner on this site (which is excel based) to come up with a basic plan... don't know whether that helps...

SavingH - That's such a cool thing of your bank... I do bank online - will have to see if they offer a similar thing!!

OBNW - You're right and I've PM'd the maths wizard that is Nats...

Thanks Retro (and you're forgiven for skivving ;))

Quick update - day 3 in job - all still seeming well, everyone still nice! Its going to be a busy role - which is fab as I hate clock watching, but not over stressed.. they really focus on work/life balance... As long as your work is complete, there's a lot of relaxation and trust in you - which I think is such a better way to run a business!!

Still gotta hit the spreadsheets - think that may be a weekend job when I have some time on my hands.

Everything else is good - just not much time to myself again and to be honest its a good feeling... I really did miss work!! lol!!

Be back tomorrow or Friday!! Hope you're all good :D

Thanks SHolmes - all still good if not completely manic today... the lady training me has what my friend referred to (when she had it) as "pregnant brain"... she seems to flit from one thing to the next without finishing itand randomly here and there and forgets what she was doing... so between being trained and also getting work in - I'm manic!!!!

Also trying to investigate bf bday present and what to get him...not enough time in the day!

Oh well... i'm not moaning, its much better than the last 2 months!!

Right I'm very proud but I have finally done the spreadsheet with the master help of Queen of spreadsheets Nats - she's wonderful.. thank you Nats:A

Bit of a busy evening with chores as well, hence the late entry!! Gonna have a proper catch up on here at the weekend..

    Hope you're all well??
