Happy Birthday to you,
Happy Birthday to you,
Happy Birthday littleEmms,
Happy Birthday to ah yoooooouuuuuuu!!!!!!!!!
Hey m'lady, hope you had a good one then at weekend? And aren't week long b/day celebrations normal? If I had my way, they'd last at least a month!
Well done on clearing the deposit's off your card right away! Breaking the cycle of building up debt is the first step - next step - blow it all away!! (If only it was that easy!)
That's a shame about the night on Friday - well done on resisting though, that's the big thing I've learned this year, that sitting in occassionally at the weekend, is not going to kill me - as much as it feels like it at the time!Is there no way you could and make it a cheaper one? Even take the car and go for an hour or 2? Just say you're giving blood or something on the Saturday if you don't want everyone calling you a lightweight!

Thank you Laura!!!!
Fabulous weekend thank you!! And yes I guess I should take the week long celebrations as normal (especially for a big birthday) Yesterday I ate out twice – a pub lunch (both with friends who paid as birthday treats) … and harvester… I was SO full up last night!!! And the rest of today!!
Yes sitting in occasionally isn’t bad at all! In fact I’m secretly enjoying the idea of it after such a busy weekBut no, no cheap night to be had as it is in central London and I live on the outskirts – no way it could be cheap and with this weather I don’t fancy the getting home on the tube late!! So car is out of not an option either!!
Oh to huff & puff and blow it all away hun!! If onlyBut yes slowly getting there!!
Hope you have a good weekend lined up??

Yup - the cinema tonight (This is getting to be a bit of a regular occurence!
- and probably will be 'til we've used up all the tickets we've bought!
And OH is providing the goodies, so it'll be a freebie for me!
).
Then tomorrow, I'm going to see Peter Powers - the Hypnotist tomorrow night, got the tickets half price (£6 each), and I'm driving, so it'll be another cheapie!! :T
Enjoy your night in - with the week I've had it actually sounds good to just have a chill out night, especially since a guy I work with has just handed me, what he promises is a really good book! I'll need to get a big bubble bath run at some point over the weekend, and get cracking on it!
Have a good 'un hun
Catch ye later!!

PS Lucky you having such generous mates! There's no chance of mine ever paying for me!0

Morning my friends!! How the devil are we all?? I hope all well and hey its Tuesday so the most difficult day of the week is out of the way!!
Laura – you are officially going to become my personal film guide… but what a fantastic way of MS, and still being able to go out! The b/f and I are off tomorrow night to either Seven Pounds or Valkeryie (or however you spell it!
) I’m intrigued to know how the hypnotist show went?? How was it?
(yes you’re very right – I’m lucky and have some fantastic friends)
Right onto boring monetary things …..
I’m skintbut happy!
lol! With birthday celebrations, osteopath, and the fact I don’t have much spare money each month, I guess it was kind of expected …I have about £40-50 left, but I do get paid 2 weeks tomorrow. The spare council tax money went towards hair and car tax. I hadn’t had my hair done since September and I really don’t spend too much money on it, so am not going to get too down on myself there.
I have gone up to my food shopping budget but am pretty much set with freezer/ etc, for the rest of the month. I should have really come in under – but with a couple of set backs of stopping at the garage due to snow… that didn’t help! However now I know I’m at budget – I’m very aware of not going over.
I should however, come in under my petrol budget I have allowed myself, and thanks to a couple of items being fixed on my car – the fuel economy should be much better.
I managed another no spend day yesterday – and hopefully today. I have also found out that my healthcare at work will cover future osteopath appointments, so I can make a conscious effort to get my back into working order!!!
I’m debating whether to take a month or two mortgage holiday – as I have that in my contract – and use the mortgage money to help me get back on track with a few of my debts? Love to know what people think???
Right seen as I’m not getting much time on here – due to work – I best go do some and hope in on some other peoples diaries!!
Have a great Tuesday!!
