Morning folks. My FSCS payment arrived in my bank account today. It was only a small amount because most of my savings are in a fixed account which I have elected to have run it's term. It does re-assure me that at least the FSCS do know about me

I am now jsut waiting for the isa certificate -wonder when that will arrive.
on 5 Live Wake up to money there tallked to sa guy weho had savings bond with icesave and he does not expect to see his money until mid December he also some with the London Scotish which went kuput yesterday poor guy0 -
:mad: I have jsut checked my online bank of scotland instant savings a/c which i have had for 10 years with a view to temp move my isa money there until the certificate arrives shock horror:eek: they have dropped the interest rate to 2.96 from 4.25 and no advice they have done this.
anyone suggest a good safe easy access savings paying monthly ??? and who knows if the BOE drop this week will happen0
