    Still very, very slow here too

    At a guess id say the server is overloaded and the mySQL db is probably not optimised for so many MSE users :p

    it shut down last night as it got very slow and still the same this morning, i clicked on the link, made a cup of coffee came back and it was loading!

    LOL!!! I thought it was just me. Had a real moan at hubby last night because he messed about installing something new (and he knows even less than me about PC's).
    He was on it after I went to bed, till about 2am trying to 'Fix it'.....................I'd best own up later when he gets in from work .............oh dear!!!!

    Yeah, these forums are pretty big now.

    Maybe a cluster is needed, or the coding/sql statements need to be optimized. Per page a lot of database data is pulled off, and a lot of requests are being made, looks like the server can't cope.
