Hello All
 Many Happy Returns Twink
Bethebee - think I have missed you so am sending Best Wishes vibes your way.
Stefjg, so sorry for DD & you (((hugs))) for you both.
Well all the Essex house other than DS are full of cold. Felt terrible yesterday afternoon so OH went & helped at the school & really enjoyed himself. DS really like having him there too.
Had an early night so feel a little better today. Had to go out and run some errands this morning, I didnt mention it before now but OH's Nan died at the weekend, they werent that close and she has had a pretty horrible time the last 5 years so it is a relief. Well today we went out and sorted the flowers for the funeral on Monday. Whilst in town popped into Dorothy Perkins and picked up a nice glittery jumper that had been reduced. Some of their jewelry was reduced by 75% so bought all of DD's friends some bangles for £1 each - so very impressed with that.
Been to iceland and picked up a few bargains there. Also some lovely Belgium choc biscuits on bogof from M&S.
This afternoon have wrapped all the Xmas pressies that I have already (apart from the kids) so am quite pleased with myself.
Just off now to prep dinner then will be clearing my ironing pile. Kilner jars have arrived from ebay so have printed off my onion marmalade recipe just need a couple more bits and will get that made.
My I have waffled!

happy birthday twink
today i didn't have any breakfast, but had a very os mse lunch of bread and butter pudding, using up half a loaf of stale bread that the chooks would have got otherwise, 3 eggs courtesey of the ever-loveable chooks, and some milk which had to be used by tonight anyway
have worked out a budget plan today, from now until the end of february, and as long as we stick to it, and are extremely frugal, we should be able to put £47 a week aside for emergencies and anything that comes up! feeling quite positive now.

Not OS but panic.
I have just been told by my lovely neighbours that I have made a complaint against them for noise nuisance! This is a complete surprise to me! The neighbours are absolutely brilliant as well, I would be gutted if I suspected that they thought it was true.
Another neighbour (her three doors down for those who have read the blog) have applied to the council to get five families evicted - just before Christmas. Some of those families have a history of violent crime that I do not really want to get involved in.
Must stay calm. Must stay calm.
Little bear is still very snuffly. Need to get wedges made and soup frozen. I wish I took to housework when I panic.Ankh Morpork Sunshine Sanctuary for Sick Dragons - don't let my flame go out!0 -

Well back from shopping. Stuck to my list and I'm quite pleased that I spent under twenty quid on my bits and bobs of food (still seems a lot, lol). I went to the Food Weigh House and got my flour and oats and lentils really cheap and the greengrocers to get my cheap veg. Only had to get a few bits in Mr T and shocked myself by only buying one frozen thing (veggie mince). Also treated myself to three new tupperware tubs, I swear I've bought hundreds over the past five years of living here but I only seem to have one left!
Just having a five minute sit down and catch up on here then off to the kitchen to start cooking.
Hugs to all, hope Soapy is all good and sure we'll hear about her littlun arriving soon enough(I'm excited for her and perhaps a teeny bit (ok mega!) broody!)
