Hi, popping in to say hello again and catching up! I'm really glad everything is working out, and just think what a difference this will have made to your enjoyment of the christmas period- I bet if you would have carried on as you were you would have been tearing your hair out- rather than facing the new year with a positive attitude!

    Hi Jim

Am stunned by the change in your situation over the last two weeks. There may be a bit of bleating from the creditors about the DMP in the short-term but keep coming back for support.

Well i've had my last interview with payplan and I make my first payment of £100.50 on December 22nd. I have returned all my paperwork to payplan and within 1 minute of putting the phone down I set up my standing order to them. I've cancelled my existing dd's to mbna and I also called first direct to ask them for the balance. Not heard anything back from First Direct regarding the bank charges but only sent the letter a week ago.
I guess this is the end of phase one of my debt free journey, by mid January creditors should have started to recieve payments etc and phase 2 commences, this all seems a bit straight forward at the moment and I must say that payplan have been brilliant, kept everything real simple and took the worry away. I am a fan.

Jim, you seem to have done loads in the last few days! Glad payplan have been so helpful, and you have had the burden of worry lifted.
    What's the plan for today?
