Well, thats where I am!!
I am still waiting for my lovely OH to sort himself out and tell me where he wants the money repaid to - I have sorted out a few odd bits and pieces with the money I have available since - but as from tomorrow (FRI) I will be setting aside £50 into a separate account, away from temptation ready for when my OH pulls his finger out!! Either I can give him a lump sum (because I know it will still be a while before he sorts the account out) or I can use this towards chri....christ.....chr... nope, can't write it yet (santa time) or a bit of an emergency fund!
I can see why Santander have such a good customer services record.... 2 phone calls and a total of 15 mins on hold to close my account - again, not a single plead from them to keep it open! (this is starting to miff me - although it proves that they never valued me as a customer!)
Although Tesco CC are no better - on the 13th Sept they said they would issue me a refund by cheque which would take 7-10 days, still not got it, so called them today and they have had a problem processing cheques, but it will be with me by the end of next week. I asked if I was allowed to charge them a £12 late payment fee, but the woman didn't see the funny side!
Not a lot else to report - weight loss is ticking along nicely and am off to circuits tonight! Poker has picked up again with a 1st and 2nd place last Sunday - moving up the league quite nicely (and a few pennies in my pocket as a result!)
Hope you are all well! Nats x :beer:start = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225

Hi All!
Well, I got home Saturday to find my cheque from Tesco CC sat on my doormat. Strangely, it is a hand-written! Obviously they did have a problem - I will pay that in to my A&L account tomorrow via the Post Office!
Other than that, not a lot to report. I have extended my shiney spreadsheet so I can see about half way through next year! I would be quite comfortable (even with paying off my OH) if I didn't have to spend any money!!Like thats ever going to happen!
So, for me, thats it for now - if anyone fancies reading a truely inspirational diary - head over to Memory Girls!! It is awesome!

Cheque all paid in - got soaked doing it though! But, its better off in my account than floating around in my handbag, which at times has the same strange properties as the Bermuda Triangle!
Not a lot else to report. Nothing exciting (or otherwise) happening on the money front!
Hope you have all had a good day, even if it has been a bit damp!

Hi Nats
Very long time no speak!!!
I only read the last few posts of your diary but your looking good (debt wise lol)
I don't have anything major hanging over me these days and that includes debts, a few bits here and there getting sorted slowly but surely!
I moved (again) this June, OH and I moved to a house with my son and have his girls over every other weekend.
We have mostly been sorting the house and put a new kitchen in since we moved we have not had much time to do anything other than decorating! Down stairs almost done, bit of titivating here and there! Chr is coming so will be using spare cash for that now before starting to do upstairs!
I have piggy banks all over the place and although they have not been sealed pots they are filling up nicely!
I am hoping I will be able to get on more often and start a new Diary as the old one will be well out of date now!!
Catch you soon

isn't it funny how they never see the funny side of us charging them £12 for a late fee. i threatened Talk Talk with that not so long ago and they didn't have much of a sense of humour either.0

Just when you think things are starting to pan out - the universe delivers you a huge big pile of horse muck!!!
*rant follow*....
Logged onto my current account this morning (as I do every Friday to confirm that the details on my spreadsheet are correct) and I have a -£ balance!! Upon investigation this is because the DD I set up to pay Barclaycard the last £8 or so of my CC balance IN FULL has gone out at............ wait for it.............£559.98!!!!! Checked with OH, neither of us have used the card.
Spoke to BC who said that on the 29th August I bought an airline ticket with a well know airline to Dubia!! If this wasn't so  I would be :rotfl:.
Usually I check my CC balances but because I knew there was sooo little left on it and it was going to be cleared on this payment date, I didn't bother!! If I had I could have stopped this before they actually took the money from my account, or at the least changed my DD to minimum repayment.
The lady at BC said I will get the money back, but not until I return the form she is sending out to me. Trust me that will be going back by recorded, sign-for, by 9am delivery!!! I want my money back!!!!
Rant over - thanks for reading. Going to put todays figures into my spreadhseet to see what affect this will have on my current account for the next.... well until I get it back!!

Still fuming over my CC!! But, nothing I can do about it now apart from follow their protocol and wait for a form to fill in.
What is really winding me up now is that the bank is incapable of emailing the claim for to me (so I could have it back in the post the same day) or having the form available to download from their website. In this age of technology, I am surprised at this.... there again, I reckon banks use pigeon post anyway, as their post always take longer to arrive than anyone elses!
Good news, although in my OD, I can just about make it though for a couple of weeks without this money! Luckily work decided to pay me for the 2 days that I had off ill - if they hadn't I would have been well and truely stuffed (and fuming even more!!)
Hope eveyone had a good weekend? Its been a bit quiet around her recently!!
