today is payday yay! finally i'm able to say it. looks like i can get my overdraft down to the miraculous £300 from £1650 just over a year ago i'm really chuffed with what i've achieved. Now i have to decide if it's viable to leave the limit there and try and stay at 0 or whether i should really bite the bullet and get it down to 0.0

Ok - forgive me fellow DFW'ers... for I have SINNED!!!
And its worse than I thought. I have just added up all my additional expenditure since I started my spreadsheet on the 25th March.
And it comes to........£397.31:eek::mad::eek::mad:
I have now re-charged my anger that will get me through this. That money would have cleared my HSBC OD.... on time as originally predicted!!!
What a wally!! But its gone and there is no getting it back so onwards and upwards. Lets have a look at the positives.- No bank charges for months now!
- Very little OD interest!
- HSBC OD is the lowest it has been.... for years
- My HSBC OD will be gone by June 5th (come hell or high water!)
- We are wasting less food
- When HSBC gone, extra money can go to Egg loan, and
- I can use my A&L savings account for things like car tax, service and insurance (pay it in one go - for the first time ever!)
start = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225
end = Mon 28th Sept 2015 DEBT FREE!
I love a good plan - it may not work.... but I love a good plan!0 -

Hi Lemon Tree!! Payday!!!!!! :T
Well done you!! It such a nice feeling to see debts reducing (whatever they are!) Reducing your OD is another string to your bow, another feather in your cap!:D
My personal plan (once my HSBC OD has totally disappeared) is to leave the limit at £200 just in case I really, really need it and run my account to £0 as much as possilbe with the extra going (firstly) to my Egg Loan (and a little set aside for car bits etc!)start = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225

I love your honesty and like you say its good to focus the anger on something so productive. And you're so right about writing is good for the soul, yesterday was a more positive productive day, and today is going to be a good one too!
Keep going hun!! You're gonna get there quicker than you think

Hi Folks!!! :wave:Hope the sun is shining where you are today? It's nice here at the moment, but I can see clouds building over the hills - they do forecast rain here tonight!
Right - firstly, a little mump!:o Tuesdays are "get my payslip in the post days"... and last night, I went to the front door in anticipation of my brown envelope.... and nothing! Where is it? So nothing to update on my spreadsheet - it better turn up today or I will be suffering from withdrawl symptoms!! :rotfl:Will spend some time just staring at it longingly later!
That aside - nothing to report really.... went for a 3mile walk last night. Still no sorting done for the boot fair/s this weekend.... looking like Friday night and Sat will be spent doing that!!
So for now, that is it from me!
Hope you are all well and being good little DFW'ers!! ?

Good afternoon All  Good day so far?
Well my beautiful brown envelope was waiting patiently on the door-mat for me last night when I got in from work. YAY! Only an extra £11.60 in my wages - but have dutifully paid that over to HSBC today... even though I get paid tomorrow (its £11.60 less that they will charge interest on!!)
I received £0.06p in CREDIT INTEREST on my A&L account today!! First time for as long as I can remember that a bank has paid me interest!:rotfl:But....my spreadsheet doesn't read the same as my online statement..... somewhere I am about £25 adrift (£25 less money than I thought I had!!) but have checked back over the past 2 weeks and cant see anything so will have to sit down (at some point - am not too worried!) and work out where it has gone.... have prob just missed a receipt or two at some point!!):o
Well - thats it for now really! There is definitely a local boot fair on Sunday - so I will be there (with matchsticks keeping my eyes open!) to make some pennies (well, many pounds hopefully!)
So, back to work I go..... Nats xstart = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225

Morning my DWFer buddies!!! My... how time flies!!
I have been popping in and out your diaries, just haven't really had time to write on my own.
So just a quick catch up in point form......- Was at work at 06:45 on sat morning (my day off) and did 2 hours OT - that made a total of 4.5hours last week:D
- Another early morning for the bootfair on Sunday - we did quite well considering I didn't think we really had anything worth selling. We took £110 and DSS took £36 for his old toys and bits.:D
- Still don't know where I am adrift on my shiny spreadsheet - nevermind!:o
- Spent the last of my b'day money on Monday on a top and a pair of shoes..... went £5 over oops!!;)
- Did 2.5 hours OT last night - it all adds up!!:D
- total over spend for the bank holiday weekend.......£40!!
Just waiting for this weeks payslip to come in the post (late due to Bank Holiday) - then I can update my spreadhseet...... better than just staring at it longingly!! :rotfl:
Well, I will be around as usual - if I haven't made it passed your diary yet - "sorry"but I will do ASAP!!
Love to all! Nats xstart = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225
