Hi Lemon Tree!! (look at you at the top of page 29!!)
Hmmm - NSD's.... I definitely need a target or I find myself spending on silly little bits, whereas if I waited until a 'spending day' I would probably either forget about them or would have decided that I didn't need / want it!
I am still on track for my HSBC OD to be gone on the 5th June (if not before!!). Have just made a nice receipt to send off to my OH's bank so I can get back my £70 that I paid to the gardener! That will go straight off my HSBC OD!!
I want my paysliiiiiiip!! :O( I feel all unsettled not knowing how much extra I will get this week!
Thanks for dropping by - you are more than welcome (any time, day or night!!) xstart = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225

Hi All!!
Emms, I know!! 3 weeks and thats a debt gone (I am anticipating a little interest to pop up the month following, that will be dealt with easy-peasy!)
Pay slip was waiting for me at home last night (did 2 hours OT so didn't get home til half eight! Zzzz) My extra hours last week netted me an additional £20.15 which I will leave in my A&L for now!! I looked at my payslip last night and if I worked an extra 3.5 hours every week, my gross pay would increase by about £2,000 a year. Now that doesn't sound too bad to me (although by my calcs I would only see just over a £1000 of it!!)
Have decided that I will do a new SOA when my HSBC OD is gone!! Need to look at setting aside fixed amounts for car tax, servicing, xmas and birthdays etc!
My OH is forgiven as he made me sandwiches last night - have just eaten them and they were lush!!
Not a NSD day yesterday as needed cigarettes - going over my weekly allowance of 3 packs again now!! Not good, need to get back in the groove there!
Ebay - 1 item (trainers) has an opening bid of £9.99 and 3 watchers so hopefully they will go up from there! Still no watchers or anything on the PS2 game - but it go I'm sure!!
Nothing else to report I'm afraid - really should update my signature... will wait til tomorrow though!!
Have a good day everyone - they are threatening thundery showers here, but nothing but blue skies at the moment!!

glad you're payslip was there today, i do silly things like check my online payslip for a week before payday to see if it's there, even though my salary doesn't vary more than pennies each month i still need to know how much it is exactly as soon as poss. so i can do my accounts for the month. now rediculous is that? i don't even get paid overtime if i work any.
hoping for nice weather tomorrow and hopefully the weekend (not much chance of it though) so i can get the washing done and dried.0 -
Happy Friday my DFW friends!!
Well, nothing really to report - have updated my signature as paid Egg Loan today..... just waiting to clear my HSBC OD and then I can lump all £800 onto my 'debt paid total'. YAY!!
Need to do some calcs tonight though!! We are due out to dinner with a group of people from our local pub next Friday and then I am off to Exeter the following weekend (any of you lot down that way?) so need to make sure I have a spending budget for both and still leave enough spare money to clear my HSBC OD!! What a nightmare - my spreadsheet seems to suddenly veer from looking quite good to being really tricky.... I know what does it..... all my extra spending!! IT MUST STOP!!! Back to rationing myself to 3 packs of cigarettes for a week as well. All starts today!
On the upside... free lunch at work as was stuck in computer training and they bought sandwiches in!! Yummy!
Well, thats it from me for now. I will have a quick read around your diaries, but as I missed all this morning as training, probably wont have time to write!!
Have a fab weekend!

Keep going nat!! once that overdraft has gone you will have paid well over £2k off!!!!!! bringing your total debt to just over £17k!!!!!!!:j
only 2 weeks to go to your free from your overdraft date!!!!! counting down.............December 2018: £20,850.24. Now: £18,333.02 Total paid in 2019: £2517.22

Okay, so I have sat and looked at my spreadsheet and there is no way that I can go out to dinner next Friday and go to Exeter the following Friday and clear my HSBC OD!:o:mad::o:mad::rolleyes:
So!! As we have to go to dinner (OH is getting social withdrawal symptoms....it will be on a budget though!!) and I have to go to Exeter (last girlie get together before babies arrive and I skipped 2 of their hen-do's last year!!) the HSBC OD is going to have to exist for a bit longer. I am determined it has got to go though!! So - maximum OT and daily clicking for me (although if my A&L cashback had paid this month or last month it would have been nice!) and most of all - NO OVERSPENDING!!
Hey-ho!!
Now.... here is a thought...... Do I take a month break from paying my Egg Loan? (I am allowed 3 months off in the period April to April and have taken full advantage of these in the past:o:rolleyes:) That £238.96 I can pay to my HSBC account instead and then with the other bits I pay into it, it will be gone. I am thinking of this as an option as once my HSBC OD is gone, I can overpay my loan and the 1 month will soon be recovered!
All thoughts gratefully received!!

OOOO what a bummer!! But these things do come up and I guess are 'sent to try us' ...... (so cliche .. sorry hun:o)
As for the loan holiday thing... how much longer will your OD take to clear? and what's the interest compared to your loan? If it will only take another week or so to clear O/D... I'd be tempted to leave loan as it is, otherwise you could be adding a month or two to your loan for the sake of a week or two to your O/D....
^^^^Does that make any sense??!?!?!?:o:o:oLBM - 17th November 2008 - better late than never
