Hi SomersetPrincess,
Welcome back :hello: and big congratulations on the baby and the engagement, you must be so excited.
We're trying to reduce the number of purely chatty posts here on Old Style which is why the daily thread was started as a good place to have a chat without having to go to Discussion Time or the Arms so I'll just add your post into it.

Morning peeps :hello:
So far this morning I've packed DD off to school with a fruit lunch - yes that's right, she's back at school with only fruit for her lunch! Okay, so I've added a small piece of banana loaf as well but she has got a golden delicious apple, a banana and a carton of pure orange juice as well. As it's slightly less than she would usually have I'm expecting her to be hungry when she gets in. I've not given her any sandwiches like I would normally as she was sick yesterday after eating a sandwich and thats what seems to set her off when her tummy is delicate but she can eat toast just fine
Anyways, I've written a to-do list but I've changed the way I do it. Instead of just making a huge list of everything I want/need to do and then picking and choosing as I feel like it, I've assigned each job a letter:A: Must do todayI'm hoping this will help me actually get through my lists instead of procrasting all the time. Speaking of which .....
B: Should do today but not until all A jobs are done and doesn't really matter if I don't do it today
C: Want to do, but doesn't Have to be donePass on to OH to do
RIGHT, I'm off to finish what I'm doing on another website, then I'm going to ring Natwest about my R85 form (I'm supposed to write my account number on the form but how can I when I don't know what my account number is for my e-savings account ? ) Just remember also need to go to the Readers Digest site as well to cancel my subscription.
Laters :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

Morning all,
Washing looks like its about to take off on line as quite breezy here this morning. Most of the major chores done already as DDs speech therapist is here this aft. Looks like she will need help all this year and even when she starts school in sept. Hey hoo.
My tickets arrived in the post today for " an evening of Clairvoyance " on Feb 4th, going with my sis and friends so should be a good night out as haven't been out without O/H for ages. His still paying of course!!
MIL up this evening  but informed her last week she has to go by 8.00pm as its getting too late for the kids to stay up, her nose was put out a bit me thinks but she hasn't got to put up with them being cranky the following morning.
Anyway have a great day all & stay safe

Nice to see you back SP, & big big CONGRATS!!! Enjoy it (as best you can if you don't always feel great), seems only 5 mins since I got preggers & now Spud is 5 months old:eek: You're about to embark on the journey of your life!
Good luck with the interview Bargainrzl (I've updated my avator for you:D), don't worry I'm a babbler too!
Had an excellent OS day yesterday with SC, BM & YM (Yoghurt maker!) all going at once & a big big tidy up as we had guests last night. So a bit of a quiet day today as I'm reasonably on top of everything, listing a couple of items on ebay & posting 2 sold ones off, storytime at the libriay this afternoon & then if Spud lets me, a DVD later this afternoon (Am I too old to admit to working my way through all 7 seasons of Buffy the Vampire Slayer????:rotfl:Well, this staying at home lark means intellectual stimulation is a priority:D:rotfl:)
B : HM Yoghurt
L : Quiche & Salad
D : Jacket spuds & tuna mayo.
Have a good day everyone;)Post Natal Depression is the worst part of giving birth:p
