    Hello everyone

I survived this morning's examination trauma - fortunately there were no nightmares on the paper. Perhaps that is because the MSE good wishes actually came true so thank you everyone! Fingers Xed I got enough down to actually pass it. HOLstar your's sounds like a complete nightmare...

In the end I only had two hours sleep last night and survived the day on caffeine drinks and caffeine tablets (was at work in the afternoon). Now about to keel over as I really really need my bed. Have a ton of work to do for Wednesday's exam but it is all going to have to wait until tomorrow. I have tomorrow off mercifully.

My central heating oil ran out this evening. It's cold, but not unbearably so (though would still prefer to have the heating on). This January is a truly miserable month chez SnowyOwl....car insurance, phone bill, electricity bill, now oil - the oil will be around £200, and I hope it will be delivered tomorrow as I don't want to freeze tomorrow evening when I am studying.

Food and nutrition today has been a mixed bag:

B: porridge, sunflower seeds and skimmed milk. No sugar.
L: cup of coffee from college canteen - it was so creamy it was disgusting - and a big fluffy scone with butter. A bag of crisps.
D: turkey stew which I concocted at the weekend using up a big pack of turkey breasts from Sainsbury's picked up in December for 89p. Chucked in some droopy celery, ancient onions, Lidl tinned tomatoes and some stock. It was flipping gorgeous! Will definitely have to make it again.
For afters I had a Flyte low fat chocolate bar. (Low fat, who am I trying to kid...note how much fruit and veg I had today!!!)

I am ready to hit the sack with a loud thud. Cheerio everyone, see you all tomorrow!

Ooooh, they say that people who spend alot of time together "fall in synch" with each other. :D I noticed that someone else has got PMT too.

(((((jo)))) take care. Please don't burn yourself out!

I always feel ratty with my OH when I've been working all hours. I'm still supposed to be planning, but I'm having a few minutes to myself and MSE! I'm getting narked with OH because he's supposed to be looking for a job - but I'm lucky cos he's already got a job, I just want him to earn more money and not travel as far :D. He had a phone call from a recruitment consultant last week and has only just got round to updating his CV  Can't complain too much as he's making me a cuppa at the mo.

Supper tonight was courtesy of the SC - beef casserole. Very yummy and very little preparation this side of the day.

We had a staff meeting at school today. We had to look through an Ofsted report of a school very similar to ours and they're in special measures  There's a very real threat that Ofsted will come visiting very soon as the school hasn't had a visit for 5 years.

I'd better go on my way and do some more planning. :(

    Sleep tight folks.

Been up a while but watching Nip/Tuck from last night:D OH is just making me a cuppa as I can just about walk/move today. Me thinks I will be on sofa with pillow and blanket today:o

WM on. DW empty. Toilet cleaned. Floors need sweeping though:p DD's pack lunch is all done-just need to make her squash. Kitchen is tidy and sides will be wiped down once breakie has been done. Bedding airing and will be made a little later.

SIL is coming today to do me weeks ironing (quite abit there LOL), clean a couple of kitchen cuboards out (does a couple a week-so they all get done in rota), pine glass cabinets, wooden blinds cleaned, fridge and fireplace wiped down. All these jobs will be done mainly OS using vinegar for the glass and damp cloths for the blinds etc etc.

Have to update me money files today and move abit of money around to juggle some DD's going out and make a few calls.

OH made some pizza dough in BM and made enough for 4 bases, so these have all been frozen and will last about 3 weeks. OH & DD popped to Lidls last night and they have their fruit and veg half price. 10kg bag of spuds £1.15, carrots 29p 1kg, mushrooms box 39p. They got quite a few bits we needed including 2 packs of mozarella and spent just under £10...also got 6 part cooked small baguettes for 29p.

OH doing some more decorating today in DD's room and he should do enough today to get the wooden blind up in there.

Forgot to say too....OH & DD went to the pet shop after school to get a Gerbil and bought 3:eek: £6.50 each or 3 for £15..LOL. The cage DD has is huge, so there is plenty of room and all brothers about 6 weeks.

Breakie:Tea/Biscuits + Baguette with coronation chicken, lettuce & onion
Lunch:Jacket Spud with cheese and coleslaw
Dinner:Fish In breadcrumbs, mash, peas and parsley sauce

Will catch up later. Have a great day OS's

Morning! Its quiet in here today! Feeling a bit better about stuff today although im massively tired again. Boyf was well behaved when he came home and we chatted, (actually, he came up with a plan by himself and told me about it for a change) and I told him he must get a job, no two ways about it. We'll see (crossing fingers)!

Just had jam on bread for breakfast again, all hm, and lovely. I showed off at work yesterday about it! Dinner tonight will be something with salad leaves, possibly some chicken.

    Have a lovely day all!

    Morning All!

Well DD and I have been up since 6, DH has beaten a hasty retreat to DD's room to sleep!

When I say we're up .... DD is watching Noddy sitting next to me in bed and I'm compiling my "To Do" list! Nappies are on to rinse and cuppa is firmly in hand, DD munching on grapes and milk ... we will get up and do brekkie soon, honest!

Last night I made a batch of seville orange marmalade, got 6 jars from 2lbs of oranges (so £2 in total for 6 jars, not bad!). However, not completely convinced how it has set, so we shall experiment with toast and marmalade for brekkie methinks!

Today I must clean our bedroom, vinegar at the ready! Finally put some in to a spray bottle so I can clean the wardrobe mirror which has DD height hand prints all over it! Mind you, she sees that as a challenge to put more on, LOL, bit like painting the Forth Bridge!

Going to take down the voile curtains and wash those, someone suggested denture cleaning tablets so I'm going to give that a shot after I've washed them in the w/machine I think.

A couple more windows to be cleaned as well. This house has way too many windows, all with 12 panes each ... yawn.

What else? Hmm ... need to make some biscuits as we've run out. Finally, going to attempt to do the ironing.

All of this is DD dependant obviously.

B - HM Toast with HM marmalade
L - HM Spicy Parsnip soup with rolls
D - Not sure, depends if I have chicken in the freezer, might be chicken pie.

Right, I've wittered for long enough ... have a good day now!! Here's to it staying dry and being a little windy for the washing.

    Morning All

I know this is late for me! But I've been so busy this morning. Loads going on in Eastbourne which makes a change!!

Going to be lovely and quiet this week, as there's only 3 of us in the office:j

Just a Vie shot - yuk!

Got a training session with the trainers tonight, so I'll be whacked later.

Found out my mini disc cable is dodgey so the interviews I did yesterday sound naff. Must get that fixed ASAP

    Hope all's well

    Good Monrning

Posting early this morning as between 9am & 11.30 need to be in my office doing paperwork so have told myself no MSE till 11.30 - I must be strict!

After officework want to have a quick tidy up and hoover whole house ( which is one of my most hated jobs). Wash any floors that need doing. Need to pop into town for a couple of bits then home to pick up DS. Want to get as much done as possible today so can go to London tommorrow to see my Nan.

So must fly - have a good day.

    Morning,
Not sure what im doing today, have one child here all day, not sure if the other will be here, as she was poorly yesterday, so will have to see!!!
Do need to pop into town, to the bank (bills, always the bills!!!) but cant do that until 9.30, so might come home after taking DS and DD to school for some brekkie before going in.
Need to put the BM on, and clean the bathroom, but apart from that, think im all up straight, so hopefully an easy day, but im sure something will happen, it normally does.
Breakfast = hunny nut shreaded wheat
Lunch = HM soup and HM bread
Dinner Salmon and veg, pasta for DS as he has football!!!
Take care, have a good day everyone
