Morning All
Good luck with the exam Snowy Owl
Not feeling too good this morning. Suffering from exhaustion I think. Working 6 days a week on early shifts is NOT fun. Especially when I'm in training for a half marathon. We did an 8 mile power walk yesterday which worked out at over 13 thousand steps!!
I've lost nearly two pounds, which I'm thrilled about. Just another stone to go.
Hungry but not got round to making porridge yet. Got a green tea in front of me.
Got my packed lunch, and dinner will probably be something involving left over lamb from yesterday
Going to Tesco this afternoon. Got to get some value chicken thighs for a SC caserole. Need to find some chives for a pate I'm going to make, but I can't find any anywhere.
Hope everyone's okComping, Clicking & Saving for Change0 -
First thing in the morning and things are already going wrong. Not house wise but family wise. OH's daughter has asked how he would feel if she and her boyfriend got engaged (she's 16, he's 18). Thankfully she lives 100 miles away so she didn't see his reaction...but I got to do the dirty work. Hopefully I got her to understand and to delay things a bit. Every serious boyfriend she has...she wants to marry.
Made me feel a little weird...giving a 16 year old my advice when she isn't my daughter...or even biologically part of my family....but OH couldn't do it. OH is scared stiff for her. I know some people are grown up enough at that age to do it...but she isn't and she wants to marry every serious boyfriend that comes along.
Breakfast...a conversation with my almost step daughter
Lunch....sandwiches at work
Tea....turkey or chicken something

Morning
Snowy: Good Luck! Ill keep my fingers crossed for you!
Well dont Scuzz :T
Rchddap1 - Jeez, at least for the moment she has to have permission to get married, the mother wouldnt give her that would she? 16 is way too young!
PP: Morning, that lamb stew sounds nice!
Ive got to go back to work again today and im stomping my foot about it as it took ages to get to sleep, then woke at 6am as boyf was still awake and had the central heating on, so i wake up barely breathing with the heat. Idiot man.
Dinner this evening will be something out of the freezer, breakfast was a slice of hm bread with hm jam, and lunch is roast chicken sandwich with hm bread. Id better go get ready, I dont want to as my few days off have been lovely, cleaning and cooking at leisure is so much fun! I need to find a rich husband methinks

It's nearly 7:30 here, time I was going to work. Been up since 6, have taken OH to the station, got the washing machine going, folded all yesterdays washing that had dried on the radiators & put it away. Tonights meal, Steak & Kidney Pie, is sat in the fridge, will serve it with mash & leftover veg fron yesterday. Most of the weeks meals are cooked or at least prepared ready. Was given £40 of Lakeland vouchers & can't decide what to buy with them, a slow cooker, or put some money with them to buy a bread maker. Decision, decisions. The mind is like a parachute, it works best when open0

Good luck with your exams snowy owl!
Here, well to say I'm fed up would be an understatement. Had to buy new WM yesterday, then had to call the plumber out, and then the WM was leaking last night! Kitchen floor is very clean but still
Hope you all have a good day! Am off to London for a freinds funeral so won't be around until later.

morning everyone
Good night`s sleep and am feeling energised but probably because I have been cycle riding this weekend. Lucky to live amongst lovely countryside here but hills everywhere. Got a new bike with lots of gears so the hills are easier now. Big day yesterday in that I managed to get on and off my bike by putting my leg over the seat. Until this weekend I always used a step through bike
Prepared a casserole for the SC
Hung washing on airer. The airer is standing in my bath as the rad in the bathroom is always on. I just put the ceiling fan on from time to time. Works very well here in the winter
Shower room cleaned
Bed airing
Just back from a 24 mile round trip to the station with my DH
Brewed and am enjoying a lovely cup of coffee
Have a lovely day0 -

Breakfast - actually ate some today :j porridge
Lunch - chicken sandwich + carrot sticks,fruit
Supper - Mackerel(if it looks OK at Tesco),baked spud and veg/coleslaw
See you later0 -
Thriftlady - I dont blame you for the BM thing. I do love HM bread but the kids wont eat it, its been about 3 months now and they still wont touch it. I also HATE the kneading blade with a passion as it leaves great big holes in the bases so you cant use all the loaf properly which must be moneu wasting not saving. I used to save allthe bits I couldnt use for breadcrumbs but my freezer is full of the damn things so now I chuck em to the birds. I wish I had borrowed one first rather than spend £60 on something I could do without.WW Start Weight 18/04/12 = 19st 11lbsWeight today = 17st 6.5lbsLoss to date 32.5lbs!!!0
