aaaaaaaaaah, sheer panic beginning to set in now, 12 hours and 40 mins to go....at least it gets the worst exam out of the way first, flippin' core modules 'Theory & Practice in Geography'...difficult questions covering geography as a discipline from the Romans and Greeks up till the present day....too many names of bearded old men!

But, by weds, I get to write essays on exciting things like glaciers and rivers and stuff (and yes, I realise I am most definitely in the minority when I say glaciers are exciting)

Hmm, 12 hours and 35 mins to go now...maybe I should stop clock-watching and get back to revising!

If anyone's got a spare moment between 9.30 and 11.30 tomorrow and wants to send any positive thoughts my way they will be greatly received!

    Ha ha Hol & Dorry!

I am still hard at the avoidance techniques...have either of you found that your consumption of tea, coffee, biscuits and coffee goes through the roof when studying? Well, they might help.

It's less than 12 hours to go until kick-off Hol!

I did Geog A level (a mere 22 years ago!) and actually enjoyed all the physical geography. Loved the field trips especially, so exciting to go away with about 20 other students, never slept a wink (and learnt sum total of nought). My exam tomorrow is psychology. It's been about eight or nine years since my last exam which was in Human Resource management. Hope I can hold my nerve tomorrow.

Good luck for tomorrow Hol. Dorry not sure if you've got an exam tomorrow, but if you do good luck to you too.

Really really have to learn something now, so bye!!

oh yes! i cant remember how much tea I have consumed today...but I know its a LOT! And, yes, biscuits are a necessity.

Everyone in my flat has exams these next few weeks...and you should just see what the inside of our cupboards look like, its biscuit-heaven!

Good luck for you for tomorrow and wednesday as well

    Morning everyone!

I haven't been to sleep yet, but I have an exam starting in around five hours. Tut drat and grrrrr!!!! I am really tired too, but so flipping stressed! This is not good news for an exam! And I have to go to work afterwards. What a mess that is going to be...

Oh and it's my sister's birthday today. Did I send her a card? NO!!!

Forgot about my car insurance too - it was due yesterday, got a call on Friday when I was sitting swotting - my insurers were wondering why I hadn't responded to the reminders they sent. Cos I forgot!!! Stress is gettiing on my nerves and getting expensive too...had to pay over the phone, otherwise would have been uninsured....no time to phone round cos I forgot in the first place. D'oh!! (Please nobody tell Martin, thank you!).

Hope everyone is OK out there is the land of MSE. I guess everyone, hopefully including Penny Pincher, is snoring their little heads off as I speak.

Cheerio everyone, happy Monday (if there is such a thing)

Snowyowl-I hope your exam goes ok for you today.....good luck amd you WILL do well!!

    (((((HUGS))))))

Not a bad night for me.

WM is on and will be dried on airer or outside. Toilet cleaned and DW empty. Have to sweep through, then thats about it really. DD's lunchbox all ready and I just have to fill her squash bottle.

OH got the diced lamb out last night and am doing a stew today in SC. Onion and lamb (dusted in flour) lightly browned off for 3-4mins, add to SC, with chopped raw carrots, new potatoes chopped in half (need using), chopped sweded, tin of baked beans, sachet mix and some peas about 4hrs in. Then maybe dumplings added about an hr before serving:confused: Normally just have this with bread and butter or mash.

Have my SIL coming today. She helps out around the house-jobs that Im struggling with doing and so that OH can have a break from me:rolleyes:. Shes pretty good and uses OS methods all the time....well I dont have much else in LOL. Amazed at how the windows and glass came up with the vinegar, and I only use brown cheapie stuff.

Have to collect the last token from The Sun today and get them sent off ASAP. I have filled in all the forms etc and OH just needs to get a loose 1st class stamp-then it can be sent. We have only gone for local places (within 1-1.5hrs) as our car is on its last legs and dont want to travel too long if Im not too good that day IYKWIM. Gone for Camber Sands Park, Camber Sands, St Margarets and Ashcroft. They all have indoor pools for OH & DD and free entertainment etc. Have to take our own bedding, but thats fine-will take my super duper warm one:D Well for £38 for either a 3 or 3 night break-you cant moan!

Anyways, not feeling too good, so am gonna pop me pills and see how WM is doing. Went to put Nip/Tuck on from last night and didnt tape:mad: so will set up for tonight. Looks like our sky+ is playing up and will get OH to sort it later.

    Breakie:Weetabix and OJ
Lunch:Jacket Spud with coleslaw and cheese
    Dinner:Lamb Stew & dumplings

    Have a good day.

    Howdy,

Good luck with your exams Snowy Owl. Fingers crossed. It's 4pm here. I'm just having a cuppa. I had some friends drop in for a visit who live in Brisbane. I was going to shop before I pick up DD from work but she knocks off at 4.45pm so I don't think I will fit it in. My friends were late as they had a few hold ups. DD's car is still not ready from the panel beaters so I'm still the taxi. Hopefully it will be ready by tomorrow.

I vacumed/washed the floors today and dusted. Also made a shephard's pie. It was PP recipe. I've never thrown in baked beans & can of toms before. I also put the leftover chick pea sauce over the top that DH wasnt keen on ;)Then topped it with potatoe. Waste not. My new motto.:D

Hope you all have a nice day. I will prob have a surf now and shop tonight. Or might do it after work tomorrow.
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

  • AussieLass-Have you had the Shepards Pie yet? What did you think of it?

No PP, it's already made and sitting in my fridge. Will pop it in the oven after I get back from picking up DD. I had enough to freeze another portion of the meat mixture & will then make some more potato for another night. Will let you know later on tonight.
