  • Morning All,

Well today I plan to do HW...well that's the plan anyway.

HAd to buy a new TD in the week...but am going to try and use my new airer more...WM is also playing up it makes a terrible sound when it's spinning!!!But it works at mo so will see where we go with that.

Had online shops from both Tescos and Sainsburys delivered so all cupboards and freezer fully stocked. :D

OH on nights this week so got another week off work, am looking forward to some quiet time when I can't make too much noise...time for reading methinks...

Anyway, have a good one all, and I will hope to catch up with you later.

    Frugalpie

PS PP - Sorry you're not feeling so good :grouphug: (and a hug to anyone else who's feeling down)
  • Hi everyone!

Have started the 'special k drop a jeans size' thingy today, but 45g of cereal is SOOO small  OH is doing it as well (actually he needs it a lot more than me :rotfl: ) but the website looks ok and they have a chat forum for people to discuss their progress!!

Start work at 3pm today so will just do some household stuff until I have to leave (around 2pm). DW has just finished it's cycle and I made the kids a fastbake loaf in the BM which they have half scoffed.

Lunch will be ..er... cereal (for me and OH)!!
Kids will have macaroni cheese or tortellini.
    Dinner, who knows???

    See ya x

    Morning everyone

Good luck to everyone on diets, i have been doing Slimming World forever and have lost approx 5 stone in 2 years got about another 4 stone to go which hopefully will get rid of this year. Had a major problem with my hormones before conceiving DD which made losing weight almost impossible but once pregnant with her it just started to fall off :j to the point I actual lost a stone in real terms when I was pregnant. Just hitting the wall now so I got to push past and keep losing.

PP my sister was exactly like your DD when she was her age, not much I can say except she is now a lovely 25 year old who hardly ever throw strops now, that my job now when i come home to find the house a tip and OH and sis sat on sofa watching tv :D

Went tesco for Coke for OH as his Sat night treat, copy of Sun for the holiday voucher and our normal Saturday paper and managed to pick up 12 free range eggs for 32p so well pleased :T
    .
Today got loads to do, Get everything ready for DD to go to Grandmas and me to go to work. WM is on with nappies in, OH shirts need ironing for work. Also a moldy patch has developed on the ceiling of sis bedroom so need to attack that later.

Going to see in-law for tea so that one meal taken care of, will proberly have bacon and eggs in a minute for brunch.

Haven't been around for a few days, been a bit busy and with all the problems with being slow just gave up on here :o

OS and Money saving in general has gone out the window a bit - got taken out to dinner curtoesy of OHs work on Thursday night at short notice - very nice but very expensive :o - well to me anyway.

work messed up paying temporary staff last week so didn't get paid on Friday and my boss told me incorrectly about getting paid over Christmas - don't think I will now so that's not so good - budget's even more in a mess as the money I'll miss out on would have paid for 2 months council tax (we live in an expensive band even though the flat is small).

then yesterday went wedding dress shopping - I'm going to have a bespoke dress and have it made because I'm not really a standard size and so would have to have an off the peg one altered so much after I got it - and the one I liked the best wasn't quite right - It's going to cost an embarrassing amount of money but we're not having things like favours, a video, reception place was relatively cheap and only 1 bridesmaid and more importantly my parents are happy with the quote I have so I need to decide exactly on my design - was a good fun day though with a friend from Uni if not a bit tiring.

Did 3 loads of washing yesterday and so airer is jam packed and duvet cover is hanging over the wardrobe door  need to do things like washing up and some sorting but we can't really get motivated :o - trying to think about our honeymoon and the logistics of our ideas now think I'll get on with some tidying while we do.

Dinner is hunters chicken type thing with roasties and veg and I'm going to make queen of pudding for afters :)

Have a good day all

Afternoon all, I only got up at midday!! I couldn't believe it when I looked at the clock. I am really glad I managed it though as I am working tomorrow (my days have been changed so I have had a smaller gap between days than I am used to) and I will be up at haly six

Today I hope we will be going out to a nearby business park so that I can pick up a mood light I have reserved at Argos, got loads of freebies from Boots and have a good old look around TKMaxx. I'm not too sure though as its getting on in the day and we are all still in our pj's!! :D

I have made a meal plan for the entire week out of food we had in the freezer, I had to do it as there was no roon left at all for any more bargains

Have a good day everyone, take care.
  • Afternoon

Well, 2 washloads have now been done and hung on airer. Floors swept and DW on which is now full :D

Chicken is cooking in oven and spuds will be put on to part boil in the next 15mins then roasted in chicken fat for an hr or so-we like them really crispy ;) Stuffing needs to be made and batter mixture.

OH & DD are going to make the quiches, so dread to see what they turn out like  Going to look for a short crust pastry mix in a minute and have onion, bacon, cheese, mushroom and peppers that need using. Havent got a quiche dish-so will a short cake dish be OK?

OH has just handed me a cup of tea in a cup and saucer....whats he after  actually...I dont want to know :D

Catch up later. Luv to all.

    PP
