Have started the 'special k drop a jeans size' thingy today, but 45g of cereal is SOOO small  OH is doing it as well (actually he needs it a lot more than me :rotfl: ) but the website looks ok and they have a chat forum for people to discuss their progress!!
Start work at 3pm today so will just do some household stuff until I have to leave (around 2pm). DW has just finished it's cycle and I made the kids a fastbake loaf in the BM which they have half scoffed.
Lunch will be ..er... cereal (for me and OH)!!
Kids will have macaroni cheese or tortellini.
Dinner, who knows???
See ya x0 -
Afternoon
Yesterday was an O/S day - I made a yummy scrummy beef casserole with carrots and pearl barley in the SC for tea and it was delish! I also got the BM out and made a parmesan and sun dried tomato loaf (an Aldi bread mix) which was also really nice. I finally caught up with the ironing backog I had since before Xmas!
This morning I had a lie in and put away the ironing backlog, but have just done 2 more washloads to be split between the MATH and the TD.
This afternoon I am bringing the finances up to date then Im off to (finally) inventorize the food and make a shepherds pie and one for the freezer. This evening I am meal planning.
Yesterday we had to do something quite unusual for us which is to go shopping! (not food shopping) had one or two bits and pieces to get. The DD's have swimming lessons at a nearby town (about 8 miles away) so decided to go there a bit earlier to wander along the High St. The very first shop we went into had a power cut, and the whole High St was out, streetlamps, everything! As it was about 4.15 most shops closed up for the night, whilst police cars were everywhere because all the burgular alarms were going off. Ended up by popping to Asda which seemed to have some kind of back up supply, poor Asda staff were still working, and bought my Christmas pressie from there, the River Cottage Family Cookbook! and DD's were so amazed at how cheap the DVD's were (some were £5/£5.99) that they treated thmselves to some new films with their Xmas money, and DD2 (7) bought a choirboys CD, which she has been singing along to all morning (she doesnt know the words to Pie Jesu so she makes it up!) Didnt make it to the swimming lessons as the baths also had no lighting.
Right OH is demanding the computer, he is typing up thank you notes to go inside the cards that DD's have made for their Xmas pressies, people may receive them before next Xmas if we keep up like this!0 -

It is nice to know that it is not just me.
Keep trying to do things at my normal speed and then get lightheaded.
Just about to dish up a late Sunday lunch and then will rest before doing a bit of ironing (just six items)."This site is addictive!"
