Hellish kids knackered from walk to shops,as is mummy. I've decided to ditch the double buggy as it is too wide to manuvore(sp?) with ease in shop aisles and DS is now 2.5 so can jolly well walk! Well, thats what I thought anyway. I put the buggy board on the single buggy in case he got tired but the damn child wouldnt walk! I ended up pushing the single with DD2 in it single handedly while hoisting DS onto my ever increasing hip. Balanced like this for 1.5 miles, whilst trying to jostle DD1 along as it was starting to snow! Serves meright for trying to tire them out hey?
MIL phoned at 4pm to say popping in tomorrow at 9.30(cue nail biting) so will report on visit later in morning. The call alone had me shaking and in tears.
Lovely spicy bean and veg soup for tea with cheesy toast soliders for dunking, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
Going to head off now and try to get the kids to bed, god knows why they arent there yet! Wish me luck,

LOL @ MATH
In fact, I posted four times as it kept failing on me, then when it did appear, three had 'got through' Couldn't get back in to delete 'em so had to call on the trusty squeaky to do the deed
Anyway - can't shout anymore. I've had to talk (aka shout and scream) so loudly today to make myself heard, that I'm in quiet mode (for a change) I really am going to get a whistle so when the kids ignore me, at least they know I want to speak.
Today was obviously the day for people dropping by with their kids from hell. They must think "I know, don't want me own house trashing, I'll just pop round to (insert name) and they can do it there"
I haven't even investigated what damage was done upstairsI'm sure I'll find it tomorrow.....
Nite all xx0 -
Argh......!!!!!!!!
It's done it again - crashed and lost me post AGAIN (as opposed to posting it 3 times)
Was a longer post but suffice it to say I've had a long bath and a cup of warm milk and I'm going to sleep. Let's hope the Techies fix the problems on here and I don't meet any more kids from hell tomorrow. Hope I don't find any more damage when I do kids rooms tomorrow, either
See ya later

OK so normally I think it's a bit daft when somebody goes and starts the daily thread when they haven't even been to bed yet on the previous day...
...but here I am
Cos I've got some EXCELLENT news! I can't go into detail cos basically I've been told some highly confidential information by somebody senior, and can't give the details in case anybody from work is reading.
But the long and the short of it is that I've been categorically assured that sometime in the next 2-3 months I will be relieved of my evil b!tch boss from hell :j :j :j :j :j :j :j
So I'm very happy and currently (still) getting off my face on REAL Baileys (only buy it once a year when it's on Christmas special offer)
Even though MSE's been such an !!!!!! today that I've been forced to write all my posts in Word and paste them into MSE, so I don't lose them if the site crashes! And hey, where have all our avatars gone?
I'll post back when it's REALLY the morningOperation Get in Shape

fab news bargain rzl, there's nothing worse than being unhappy at work.
johanne - contact your gas company and ask to move onto direct debit instead of a prepayment meter. having a meter used to cost us a fortune and never seemed to last long, never mind the inconvenience. married to the man of my dreams! 9-08-090 -

yeah i know it would be miles cheaper and more convienient..... i really wanted to change the meters and go across to DD when i moved in but my landlord wouldnt let me!! (Might be cos he had to pay of £95 worth of debt left on the leccy meter the day i moved in because the last tenant done a runner without paying any money to anyone for months/years and i was sure as hell not paying off her debts!!!!) So im stuck with prepayment meters..... but I am waiting for my transfer to complete to swap me to ebico who work out £240 a year cheaper! I just hope they hurry up!! :rolleyes:0
