    Good Morning All.

DW empty and wm on 2nd load. Have had quick tidy round and sitting in office and in a min will start on a couple of hours paperwork. Lunch then off to library to return kids videos.

Only sandwiches for tea tonight as got to take DD to orthodontist but last year would have used that as an excuse to get another takeaway so resolutions still on track.

Still keeping motivated thanks to reading daily thread here - thanks you lot!

    Good morning all :hello:

Hoping to get motivated into doing some housework soon. Walked to Tesco this morning with Poppy the dog. (2 birds, 1 stone) ;) Got another half price extra large chichen for the freezer and some half priced charmin toilet rolls amongst the other things. :T Now my feet are killing as I went in the wrong shoes and have rubbed the underside of both feet sore.

When I am feeling down I read the days messages and feel better for hours. :A

Must go as the wm has just finished and need to get another load in soon.
The best bargains are priceless!!!!!!!!!! :T :T :T

    Hello everyone

It looks a bit better outside at the moment, on the way back from DSs piano lesson is was snowing - well more like sleet really.

Breakfast was cereal for DH & me, but DS didn't emerge until the last minute when we had to go out for his lesson, so threw a chocolate bar at him on the way out the door (using up the last of the Christmas goodies. He won't get any more breakfasts like that now!)
lunch: pizza - HM from yesterday's dinner
dinner: not decided yet (note to self - do menu planning for the rest of the month) Possibly turkey or beef curry from meat cooked at Christmas & put in freezer.

Washing done & dried (some still in airing cupboard)
    D/w emptied & reload started
    bathroom cleaned
bed made (DS needs to do his though)

Afternoon school work to put out for DS to do after lunch.
Apart from that, not too much else to do. House still looks ok after post-decoration clean-up.

    Hi all,

((((hugs to all those feeling ill and sore today))))))))

Not got much done so far today, I just can't be bothered!

The washing is done but that's about it, and I've just made some butter lol.

Have today ordered some things from la redoute using a voucher code on this forum, so two skirts, one free gift and postage and packing = £0.00. just love it.

I also ordered a bigger slow cooker, brevill 4.5l and a new sweater for me using an empire code yesterday, and got both for £19.98, so another low spend there!. My 13yo dd who lives with her dad has asked me for the smaller slowcooker so that she can use it at home! A little moneysaver there.

I have bought some new kitchen cabinets to finish the kitchen this weekend, whilst they are in the sale. So I shall finally have all the cupboard space I need now to store all my OS cooking equiptment.

Oh well off for another browse, have a good day all.

Hi Yall, I think someone turned the speed up on Ye Olde Treadmill for the new year. I havn't been able to post on here before noon for yonks. Long after you lot have all had you say and sloped off! I've had to rush my posting and have only skimmed others jottings. Today I'm sitting down for a good read and will deliver an epistle:p

Got up early today (6:45) cos 7am was the only time the dishwasher repair man could fit me in today. New runner caps and new soap dispenser, the new programmer and front fascia will be fitted next week. He was suprised it needed so much work as it is only 2 years old. I didn't like to tell him this is the first DW I've had that I've mananaged to keep running past 18mnths. hehehe

It was bitterly cold walking the MATHLETTS to school. The wind was whipping over the fields and was freezing. I still havn't warmed up hand and foot wise.

Finally got the date for my uncles funeral through (there is a major backlog at the crem apparently). It will be next Thursday and I'm looking foreward to seeing my hoards of cousins. We used to meet up periodically for weddings and christenings, nowadays it's only funerals:rolleyes:

Final day of the detox and the first 2lb off:j I need to shift half a stone before March cos once I start going back to the coast I shall be FORCED to eat a few bags of chips (it's the law in Lincolnshire);)

I've been reading the what are you growing thread. Normally I would be planning where my herbs, pots, tomatoes are going to go but with planning so much of the summer away I don't want to have to ask me neighbour cos she has enough to do feeding the cats and stuff - so nothing much planned in the garden.

Mrs MATH has just given us sanction to stay at the coast for all 6 weeks of the summer holiday with her bobbing over for the weekends. Oldest MATHLETT's best friends family has a holiday home 5 miles further along the coast and they are planning a 6 week stay so we will probably all pal up together.

No luck job wise for Mrs MATH. She is still temping and looking for jobs. She has dropped her required salary again and widened her area to cover all of England so we may have to move so the hall, stairs, landing refurb is on hold for a bit.

    So that's my news!

Kiwi - hope all goes well at the 'meeting of minds'

PP - Everytime I go to my TD I feel guilty and here you posting in my ear "5...6...7...8...9...10 days with using the TD";)

Hugs to all who are poorly and all who are back at work and don't want to be

  • Thanks for all the lovely comments-they've really cheered me up and feeling very sensitive today but have had a good cry and feel a little better :p

Kiwi-Chick: Dont worry about the MIL....who cares what she thinks..LOL. I dont get on with my MIL-On my wedding day-she told me that I shouldnt be wearing a white wedding dress and the 1st time I met her (i was 13) she said I was a tart....cheeky bi*ch!! We've had loads of rows but they have never been my fault, although she always make me feel that it is  Proved her wrong anyway-she gave us 6 months and weve been married 12 years and together 18 years and we're 31. I get upset when I think about it as I dont like people thinking badly of me-coz im a nice person....but then i think that shes never going to change and shes just a miserable dried up evil old cow

MATH-Look ere mister!! Im going to be sitting on your conscience everytime you put that bloomin TD on :p If I have to cut back on using it-then so have you ;) (((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))))

Anyways, not alot done here apart from OH & I in very deep conversation and me getting upset telling him how a crap mum and wife I am blah blah blah.

Did manage though...to do a washload and OH hung on MATH...I mean Airer...LOL. Swept through and DW half loaded.

    Will catch up later.
